And some is SO cute! I am excited about the boys newborn Traffic Jam- which goes up to 18-24 mo. I am definitely getting the denim pants and car sweater, and maybe on a car printed bodysuit- bodysuits don't fit my long torso son well but it is SO cute. What do you think of the stripe pants in the Traffic Jam line?? I can't decide. I totally hate the Safari line, so none will enter my house except maybe the basic jeans shorts. But other than that, I'm just drooling over the cute girl's stuff. Go shop! www.gymboree.com

I agree with you, that traffic jam line is absolutely adorable. Darn it, I would put that stuff on Huey (not the onesie, but the other stuff). And while I think there are a few cute pieces in Safari (just a few, IMHO), I'm holding out for some later Spring stuff for the boys. We are still wearing turtlenecks and sweaters and snow boots and coats here, so I have plenty of time to wait for cute boys Spring stuff. The boys frog newborn essentials are cute too.

Now, ehhhh hem, the girls layette is beautiful. How the heck am I supposed to follow my one outfit per line rule with this line? This is what I will ~THINK~ about getting.

This hat can go with both outfits! I love that.

I still have to really look at Wildflowers to decide what I like. I know that I like this:
http://a116.g.akamai.net/7/116/2088/infinite/www.gymboree.com/media/images/products/20050104_LOAD/1400-00690_GYO005_front_3daa9.jpg http://a116.g.akamai.net/7/116/2088/infinite/www.gymboree.com/media/images/products/20050104_LOAD/1400-00535_front_3d8c9.jpg http://a116.g.akamai.net/7/116/2088/infinite/www.gymboree.com/media/images/products/20050104_LOAD/1400-00891_front_3dbc1.jpg

And I really like these, but can't decide what I like paired with them:
http://a116.g.akamai.net/7/116/2088/infinite/www.gymboree.com/media/images/products/20050104_LOAD/1400-00524_front_3d85b.jpg

I'm anxious to see what everyone else likes from WFF. I'm kind of hit or miss on alot of the stuff.

EDITED TO ADD: I keep looking at WFF and the more I look at it, the more I don't like it. I don't know. Maybe when I see it on some babies here I'll look at some of those pieces differently, but eeeeek, some of those baby girl shirts are just odd. Hmmmmmm. This one really bothers me:
http://a116.g.akamai.net/7/116/2088/infinite/www.gymboree.com/media/images/products/20050104_LOAD/1400-00517_close_3d813.jpg
Does anyone else think that design looks weird?
I do like that romper I listed above and the cargo pants (which I may just get a plain tee to go with them), but overall this line isn't doing it for me right now. It almost seems Summery to me, instead of Springy. I'm very anxious to read everyone else's reviews and thoughts here later today.

Sheesh. What is with those Gymbo designers? I think the Safari line is absolutely hideous.

No offense to anyone who might like it, but this one takes the cake. Blech:

I agree that the Traffic Jam stuff is adorable. I do love that sweater. But I'm really buying 2T right now, so I can't do any of it. :-(

LOL, I agree Susan. The colors in that romper are, ummmm, not nice. I would love to see Gymbo go orange free in their boys' lines . . . until Halloween. Then I'll let them slide.

Hate the safari line! Well maybe the one rhino tee is cute but I don't like the off white backround for spring/summer when we will be outside all the time.
I am glad that I love the Great Bambini line though and that I didn't buy yet.

Finally a boys' line I can be excited about. We're definitely going to get the sweater + the denim pants. I like the stripe pants but I'll have to see them IRL first and I think the denim pants are more practical. I also like the car print shirt.

I do not like the safari line AT ALL...Orange + green AGAIN!!!

As for the moms of girls, I love the Paper Lantern line. I would want the entire line if I had a girl!

When are the stores putting out the new stuff?

Kerry-
I was thinking the same thing. Not sure if I like either the colors or the design. I know this doesn't work for you, but I have to see it in person...especially a color like peach/orange.

I spent a little more time looking. I know Harper is going to have the dress posted above. I am so in love with it. I hope it doesn't disappoint when I see it IRL. The rest I'll have to check out in person. She doesn't need any clothes and I'm going to try & follow some of the advice to only buy what you love! We'll see if that works.

I'm am so bad. It is 7 am and I am thinking at 10 I can call my fav sales gal and have her hold the dress for me. I have a board meeting at 11, but after that I can swing by and pick it up. My husband would think I'm crazy, but you all understand! He thinks it is weird that I'm on a first name basis with Gymbo clerks. I don't have any Gymbucks, so no reason to wait...

Actually, I really like both lines, especially Paper Lanterns. I don't like everything in WF, but there are a few pieces that are really pretty, like the green swiss dot dress. No one mentioned it yet, but the website has everything 25% off. So, for everyone who has too few gymbucks, now is the time to buy! I just went yesterday to buy some SC but I'm going back to get some stuff today since I only have 1 gymbuck!

I love Paper Lanterns, and a few of the items in Wildflower fields. I'm in trouble!!!

So, is it pretty common practice that the new stuff will go back up to full price again as soon as Gymbucks redemption starts?

p.s. As for the orange WFF shirt that a PP thought had a strange design, I'm going to go out on a limb here and tell you what I think. I can't believe I'm going to say this, but when adults wear shirts with that criss-cross/empire cut, it accentuates their breasts. Maybe that's why it seems weird to have a shirt like that, like it's too grown up or something? I could be way off base here, after all it is before 9am and I was up nursing A LOT last night. LOL.

YES! That's it, Joyce. It's how that shirt highlights the chest area...on a baby?!?!?!? Almost like whoever is wearing that shirt should have some cleavage or something. Too funny.

HIDEOUS is the exact word that came to mind when I saw that one-piece! It is just awful! Needless to say, we won't be getting any of the Safari line. Just my opinion, of course... :-)

As far as the WF line, I will probably have to see it in person. We are going on a cruise in Feb., so assuming I like these items in person, they will be in the bag:

There are several other possible outfits that I like. I'll have to see. I think the problem that you are having with that one shirt is that it is too "grown-y". While I think some of the styles are cute, they are just more adult than I would like for my daughter. "I" wore an outfit last summer with a ruffled skirt, tank, and jean jacket similar to the outfit they are selling! I can see a lot influence from the boutique brand "Little Mass" in these pieces.

ROFL. I would've never thought of it except I had Gap Maternity shirts that looked a lot like that design--and for the first time ever I had a chest! Ha ha. Glad you were thinking what I was thinking. :-)

I like the car layette, but I don't love it. Oh well. I only have one gymbuck, so I might go today and pick up a few pieces (I like the s/s romper and I might like the overalls and onesie), then use my gymbuck on a few of the frog pieces. I actually think I like the frog better -- the knit pants, beanie, and shirts are adorable! I have a lot of Gymbo frog from the past two years, but oh well. I'll take what I can get!

NO MORE GREEN AND ORANGE FOR BOYS! My older DS is getting nothing. Great Bambini doesn't seem special enough, and the Safari line is completely NMS. Not cute at all, if you ask me.

Re: the WFF shirt -- yes, that style accentuates a chest on an adult, but I think it is cute for a little girl because it gives a cute line to the torso and it flares out a little over those cargo pants. I think it could be a really cute, empire waist style. JMHO.

The sweater is adorable!!!! I think I'll get the sweater and the socks for Lane.

As far as Little Miss, I'm not sure. I have one GymBuck to use (that my $ didn't earn, so even better!). I want to keep it as close to $50 as possible, so it could really be a 50% off for me. I'll just have to see what strikes me IRL. I agree that Paper Lanterns is gorgeous! I love these Mary Janes:

I can only buy Kid Girl now :-( I'm reserving final judgement until I see it IRL, but I'm not crazy about the Wildflower line. It's pretty, but not really my style. I do like the basic tees, especially the green and orange. I like those colors, but I don't necessarily like them together, as a lot of the tops seem too busy to me! I wish they had the stripe print in pants for Kid Girl, though. I really like that pattern.

I'm off to the mall but when I called yesterday they said that the new lines wouldn't be out until tonight. I'm hoping by the time I get there they'll at least have a few pieces out!

Well, I'm undecided. I guess I'm going to need to see it IRL. I do really like the Paper Lanterns line for layette (and the boy layette, too!) but the pieces just don't work for spring...the ones I like are l/s and I'm only buying s/s now. :( Plus, I think the cutest outfit is the army green cargos and that's also one of the only things I like from WFF. Why didn't they do the army green cargos in WFF for KG and let the babies have the khaki ones?? That way we could get both outfits!! :)

So here are my picks right now for AG (disclaimer: this may change after I check it out IRL!! LOL!):

http://a116.g.akamai.net/7/116/2088/infinite/www.gymboree.com/media/images/products/20050104_LOAD/1400-00517_main_3d817.jpg http://a116.g.akamai.net/7/116/2088/infinite/www.gymboree.com/media/images/products/20050104_LOAD/1400-00524_main_3d85d.jpg http://a116.g.akamai.net/7/116/2088/infinite/www.gymboree.com/media/images/products/20050104_LOAD/1400-00633_main_3da01.jpg

And probably one of these swimsuits:

http://a116.g.akamai.net/7/116/2088/infinite/www.gymboree.com/media/images/products/20050104_LOAD/1400-00540_main_3d8fd.jpg http://a116.g.akamai.net/7/116/2088/infinite/www.gymboree.com/media/images/products/20050104_LOAD/1400-00539_main_3d8f3.jpg

I'm really, really disappointed in the dresses. I was hoping for a great, flowy, feminine dress from this line but there just isn't one. I think I *might* like this one but I won't be sure til I see it:

http://a116.g.akamai.net/7/116/2088/infinite/www.gymboree.com/media/images/products/20050104_LOAD/1400-00532_main_3d8ad.jpg

I will probably spend my Gymbucks getting a few more things from DW rather than a lot from WFF.

I like a few of the boys items for my guys (who are way out of the baby sizes!):

I love WF! The swimsuits are too cute! I am a huge fan of orange and the girls things are a must have for us! I dislike safari adventure which is good b/c I want too much from the girls section! I really like the shark swimwear and both the boys will have to have one pair of trunks from that line.

I am sooo disappointed that the frogs only goes to 12-18 b/c it's very cute! Traffic jam is alright and I may find a thing or two for Levi. Did you see the robeez style shoes? Too bad they don't come in Levi's size :(

Doesn't Robeez make a similar shoe? I swear I've been burned by too many Robeez look alikes and they are never as good as the real thing (I mean no-names, NOT the other good ones like Bobux and Jack and Lily, which I've not tried but have heard they are just as good as Robeez).

Just my $.02, to make you feel better that those shoes don't come in Levi's size, lol!

Denise, I will anxiously be awaiting your report and/or pics of AG in this line. I LOVE those cargos (it's one of the few pieces in WFF I really, really like) and yet something about that shirt initally bugs me. Sometimes shirts like that don't look as cute or as good when they are "flat" as it is in the photo. Please let me know what you think of it IRL on AG!! Ya know, that yellow outfit is cute too and I've gone back and forth on it. I got Andie a Daisy the Cow one piece outfit a while back and while I think it's the sweetest thing, Andie doesn't seem to pull yellow off very well. Hmmmm. Let me know what you think of that one too. And I definitely want to hear about the dress. I think baby girl got shafted in the dress department.

Well, I'm torn. I like some of WF, but a lot of it is too fussy for me. And I think PL is beautiful, but its also not really my style.

In Kid Girl I love this bathing suit though: http://www.windsorpeak.com/dc/user_files/19477.jpg

And how cute would it be for little sister to have the matching one? http://www.windsorpeak.com/dc/user_files/19478.jpg

And I also like these dresses, but I think they are really expensive for only half off.

And I like the colors of some of the basics in Kid Girl.

But I also have a bunch of stuff from GWL that I wanted to get too with my Gymbucks. What to do, what to do....

I don't love everything in WF, but I really like some of the pieces. Personally, I like that the BG line looks a little more grown up. DD will be ~2 yrs old when she wears this line, and I'm ready (yikes!) for her to look more like a kid and less like a baby. Unfortunately I don't love any of the BG swimsuits. The one-piece is cute, but I don't like the cut of the legs. I have 3 GymBucks to spend, so here's what I'm planning to get:

OUTFIT #1:
http://a116.g.akamai.net/7/116/2088/infinite/www.gymboree.com/media/images/products/20050104_LOAD/1400-00517_main_3d817.jpg http://a116.g.akamai.net/7/116/2088/infinite/www.gymboree.com/media/images/products/20050104_LOAD/1400-00524_main_3d85d.jpg
I personally love this top, and I think the shallow cut of the neckline will offset the "cleavage factor."

OUTFIT #2:

I only like this top (b/c it's white and b/c of all the ruching), but I love the skirt. It looks like it'll be really comfy.

OUTFIT #3:
http://a116.g.akamai.net/7/116/2088/infinite/www.gymboree.com/media/images/products/20050104_LOAD/1400-00515_main_3d803.jpg http://a116.g.akamai.net/7/116/2088/infinite/www.gymboree.com/media/images/products/20050104_LOAD/1400-00642_main_3da5b.jpg http://a116.g.akamai.net/7/116/2088/infinite/www.gymboree.com/media/images/products/20050104_LOAD/1400-00692_GYO005_main_3dac9.jpg

I am conflicted. I really LOVE all the sherbert-y colors in WFF, but I'm not so sold on the stylings. I see one shirt and 1 pair of capris that I like for Kathleen (I LOVE the shirt), but I don't think they can be 1 outfit (too busy you think?). So there's the plain capris, but I don't think I'm going to like the satin stripe down the side. So maybe the shirt paired with the denim capris?

I see nothing for Ellen in BG.

Well, for once, I think I am the opposite of most everyone here. PL is not doing it for me. It's just so-so for me right now. Maybe I'll like it better IRL.

But I *love* WF. I'm just so excited to see some different colors. Finally we can have something other than pink or lavender in our wardrobe! The knit butterfly skirt is definitely one of my faves, but I'm not sure yet which top I like with it.

I also like the striped knit dress. And that halter swimsuit is definitely coming home with us!

I only have the one gymbuck and I got free shipping, so I ordered online instead of dragging both kids to the mall tonight.

I only ordered for the baby, so I got:

Traffic Jam
denim pants
car sweater
(both for next fall)

car shoes (had to try these!)
blue car socks

both knit one-pieces (the polo style is online and Tiers 1 and 2 only, I heard, so I had to order if I wanted to get it)

Playtime
frog socks

I plan on getting the frog terry one piece and the knit pants and onesie on Thursday with my gymbuck.

I hit just about $100, so I got free shipping with the FREE100 code, but I heard at GR that you can get free shipping under $100 by using the code WINTERSALE. Apparently, that code should have expired but is working for a lot of people.

Of course, I still want to get to the mall tonight just to see the stuff in person, LOL!

The WINTERSALE code just worked for me this morning! If you're under $100, I would definitely give it a shot! :)

DS got:

I just wish that I thought I could squeeze him into the froggies for this spring, but there's no way! Oh, well! :)

Absolutely LOVE those striped pants in the Traffic Jam group! Finally some cute, fun, unique pants for a boy!!!!

ETA: THE FROG!!!!!!!!! I HOPE that Finn can fit into this. I want the entire line! Why couldn't they do this up to 24 months too? We don't need any new clothes for now GRRR.

Well, I've been looking at WFF all day and I'm not sure about it. I definitely won't be buying the whole line-- that's for sure!!

I do think that I will get this for Anneliese:

And, I like this set from PL, but why does the shirt have to have long sleeves?

I still haven't decided what I will buy exactly. I think I may opt to get another outfit for each of the girls from DW. I don't mind getting two outfits from a line (when I really like the line) as long as they look different. Can't wait to see what everyone decides on!!

Kerry, we're not real into yellow either. I just think it's the least flattering color for AG. Pretty much any other color (with blue & pink topping my list) looks good on her. We'll see. It looks like a really odd color of yellow to me. I didn't get to the store this morning so I'll probably try to go tomorrow morning. Hopefully they'll have the line out by then. :)

Yes, yes, yes! That top with the denim capris!! What a great outfit! I *love* it! :D

Ya know, Lisa, I'm glad you pointed out those shorts. I really love that orange color (I think Maureen described it as Sherbert-y and I like that) and those shorts are really cute. We do not need shorts for quite a while yet, but I wonder if they will stick around and be available at deep discount? That green shirt will look really cute with those shorts.

Thanks Denise! And I'm glad you like it because right after I posted I bought it online. :) (I have no GBs and figured I better do it while it was all on sale.) I just got the shirt and the denim capris. I really like the capris and they can go with everything!

I don't know if you saw my post from a few days ago or not. I posted pics of Anneliese wearing those capris. They are adorable and I *love* them. I think they will be sooooo versatile! Good choice!

Marie, I missed them! I was out of town this weekend visiting the ILs and wasn't able to get away and get my board fix! :) I bet Miss Anneliese looked beautiful wearing them!!

Thanks! :)

First Hanna, now this. I'm really in trouble in now! Charlie's room is done in cars, so I can't pass up the Traffic Jam line. And I LOVE the frog newborn essentials. What to get, what to get???

I don't love WF, but there are a few pieces that I like. I'm glad I don't love it because I only have 1 gymbuck and I spent more on DW than I was planning.

Here are my picks as of now. This is all subject to change once I see the lines IRL.

From WF:

I like this shirt but not sure about bottoms. I'm not seeing anything that thrills me.

No,the 25% off is supposed to end today. The full priced lines will be back at full price, but the lines that are already on sale will stay on sale, although they might not be 25% off.

HTH!

You are lucky that Charlie is still young/small enough for that frog stuff. Waah, I so hope it runs big :) I have to have some of it. The traffic is cute too and I'll probably get a few pieces for next fall but the frogs, I am in love with.

I actually have to see this in person, but I think I LOVE it. (Maybe I'm weird). I think it would look so cute with the matching skirt & will probably get it for my dd.

That's my favorite piece in the whole line! I'm truly not concerned about cleavage at this point. :)

You'll have to post a picture of her in it. I'm sure she'll look adorable.

BTW, my gymbo clerks know my name also!

I'm surprised by the blah reviews of WF, because I love it. Of course if I was buying for an infant, it wouldn't be my favorite because it is a little more grown up, but I still think it's very much "little girl". I really liked DW and thought I could use my gymbucks to round out DD's DW line, but I'm going to be buying almost all WF.

For DD#1

I just love this outfit. I already ordered this online. The pants remind me of the Flower Blossom cargos that I never got to buy because they were Tier 1 only. :(

http://www.windsorpeak.com/dc/user_files/19548.jpg

These tops will be worn with plain khaki or denim shorts or a skirt. I already ordered the ribbon shirt online, because I'm worried that my store will only have the long sleeve version.

http://www.windsorpeak.com/dc/user_files/19550.jpg
I'm surprised no one mentioned this tunic yet. I think it is so cute and will be versatile. I'll probably use it as a swim cover up. I already ordered it online also.

http://www.windsorpeak.com/dc/user_files/19553.jpg
http://www.windsorpeak.com/dc/user_files/19552.jpg
Depending on what I like IRl, I might buy these sandals. I think they're super cute, but a plain tan pair would be more versatile.
http://www.windsorpeak.com/dc/user_files/19554.jpg
DD loves hats, especially ball caps, so this is a must. It's from KG, but I don't care much for the BG hats. I think they're a little too fancy for outfits I chose.
http://www.windsorpeak.com/dc/user_files/19555.jpg
Since we're getting so much from this line, I think I'll get the jacket also. If I don't like it IRL, I may opt for a sweater from WF and pick up the DW jacket, but it's $50 regular price.

Does it mean I'm spending too much since I need two posts to add all of my attachments. EEEK!

Ok, for DD#2
She'll need a coordinating outfit to match big sister!
http://www.windsorpeak.com/dc/user_files/19563.jpg

I think PL is sooo sweet!

I ordered the following outfit online, since my store said they won't be getting it (they're Tier 4).

http://www.windsorpeak.com/dc/user_files/19564.jpg
http://www.windsorpeak.com/dc/user_files/19565.jpg

And if I like it IRL, I'll pick this one piece up.

That's all. :)

Vicki, I ordered that first PL outfit you posted, the shirt and pants, yesterday. Can't wait to see IRL. And I am going to try and get that second outfit, the one piece, on sale at a later date. I love PL.

I like the tunic top, too. I want to wait to see it IRL and I might get it as a swimsuit coverup if I get one of the WF swimsuits. I like all of your picks! :)

This will be the line that will continually be on the sale racks.
I guess none of their designers read our board 'cause we didn't like orange and green the last time either.

I do like Traffic Jam, though.

I wanted to wait until the size 3 capris came in the mail so I would know if Eva could wear other capris. I like the color of the kid girl khaki capris more than the BG Cargos and I like the idea of having capris in the future and wearing them as pants now. So now that I know they will work I think I want this outfit with my one Gymbuck. Although when I called my store today they said they don't have the KC cargo capris in size three yet, but they are getting more boxes in tomorrow. We shall see...

http://www.windsorpeak.com/dc/user_files/19645.jpg http://www.windsorpeak.com/dc/user_files/19646.jpg

Like Vicki, I also like these two shirts. If the capris are not available I may just stock up on shirts for now and get pants later although I think the yellow ribbon tee may not be available in SS at my store. :-(
