I may forget all about Gymbo now!!
And I am LOVING what I see. LOVING it!!!
LOOK AT THIS!!! Cute!
http://www.hannaandersson.com/images/s7Large/29418_030.jpg

And I love this multicolored day dress for baby:
http://www.hannaandersson.com/images/s7Style/20154_B23.jpg

And I adore all of this. This stuff is SO much fun.

How cute are these?

Love this:

because, OMG, look how CUTE this hat is?
http://www.hannaandersson.com/images/s7Style/29504_J96.jpg

I'm loving the colors in this opposite stripes baby set. Andie's coming home outfit was one of Hanna's "opposite stripes sets" and it was the softest, cutest thing. I may need another one. Am I in trouble or what?
http://www.hannaandersson.com/images/s7Style/29430_D42.jpg

Loving this zipper:
http://www.hannaandersson.com/images/LiveStyle03/5p28863l.jpg

Okay, for now, I'm done. No matter what Gymbo comes out with, no matter what I love from J&J...I ALWAYS fall back to Hanna. Always.

ETA to add more that I love. Quinn must have this. He's a 4th of July baby and his 1st birthday party was done in these colors (versus the traditional red, white and blue) and ever since then I love red and watercolor blue together. I hope he can still wear 90's this summer.

This should help X make his/her debut. Everythingis adorable!

I think I might be able to find a few pieces that will work for my DS. He's in that in between stage where some things might look too babyish...sniff, sniff...but some will work!

I love this:

Why oh why do I log onto this site?!?! You ladies are a bad influence on me and my checkbook!

I LOVE the sea dress capri set. I'm going to HAVE to order that for our upcoming trip to Maui. Not to mention one of the short sleeve day dresses <sigh> I've been doing so good too. LOL!

Are there any codes out there?

Also, I'm not sure which size I should order. Right now DD wears a 70 in playdresses/zippers and seems to have plenty of room to grow. At her 1 year well baby check she was 29 1/2" and 19.5 lbs. I'd love for her to be able to wear these into summer but I wonder if an 80 would be too big. Any thoughts?

Wow. With some restraint, I may say that I will buy some wiggle pants, that hooded cardigan in green bean, the floral romper and the seashell dress (with hat of course).

Considering that I bought nearly everything from this Fall's catalog (including a bunch of 90's for next year) I think that's pretty good, lol!

Best,
Mary

P.S. Kerry, I'd absolutely go for the opposite stripes set. We had one last year when Sophie was in 60's and this year the red and white. I reach for them over and over. Plus if you get some solid wiggle pants and snap tees you can mix and match!

That is exactly what I thought when I saw that romper. As of right now, I'm not even going to think about Gymbo's new WFF. Between these new Hannas and Gymbo's Paper Lanterns and some of the older lines, I am not interested in WFF anymore. :)

Denise, the colors of those shirts you picked out for your boys are great!! I might have to get my little blue-eyed guys a shirt or two in those colors.

Robyn -

what size are you going to buy for Ava?

Looking at HA sizing chart, Dillan is in the latter end of the 70's but everything we have in a size 70 fits great w/a little growing room. However, I'm wanting this stuff to fit spring/summer which is several months away and particularly when we go to Maui in April.

Do you think an 80 would work? At her 1 year check up last week she was 19.5lbs and 29 1/2".

Don't stress about the multi colored playdress in size 70. That's the one I want too. I tried to put a size 60 in my basket just out of curiousity and that one is backordered till MARCH! Something tells me there will be a replenishment or something is off. Either that or their are some die hard playdress fans out there buying them all up.

OMG, how cute is the new Hanna stuff?? Some of these pieces grab me a lot more than the WFF line from Gymboree. Gymbuck redemption doesn't seem nearly as exciting now.

This is what I want for EP:

And possibly for Anneliese:

DENISE-- Are you buying 90s for Spring/Summer?? I'm tempted to stick with 80s, but will I regret it?

pritchettzoo
01-11-2005, 08:46 PM
If it is one or the other, definitely the Hanna romper. It will last size-wise much longer, and the knit is just sooooo soft. Isn't the Gymbo one cotton percale or whatever it's called?

But who are we kidding? Get BOTH! ;)

heidis2girls
01-11-2005, 09:24 PM
Marie! I'm buying in Kid Girl, too. I love the dress you're getting Anneliese and may get that for the girls. I also love these tops:

http://www.windsorpeak.com/dc/user_files/19531.jpg

http://www.windsorpeak.com/dc/user_files/19532.jpg

with these capris:

http://www.windsorpeak.com/dc/user_files/19533.jpg

I love this "marshmallow pullover"! I'm going to call and find out some more specifics, i.e. is it heavy like sherpa or more lightweight. I'm assuming it's lightweight since it's for spring/summer.

http://www.windsorpeak.com/dc/user_files/19534.jpg

I love this dress in all colors, but I like these two colors the best:

http://www.windsorpeak.com/dc/user_files/19535.jpg

http://www.windsorpeak.com/dc/user_files/19538.jpg

And the playdress in these two colors, although I probably won't buy them because each of the girls still have 2 oh so happy dresses from last summer that will still fit:

http://www.windsorpeak.com/dc/user_files/19536.jpg

http://www.windsorpeak.com/dc/user_files/19537.jpg

Yikes, I didn't realize how much I liked until I started doing this! The tops and capris are my first purchases, but I'm not purchasing until there's code, which will hopefully be soon as we're going to California in February! Hopefully someone will get one on their new catalog. I never seem to get them...

AvasMama

Haven't taken Ava in for her 1 year appt. yet, but I am guessing she's close to Dillan's size (maybe a 1/2 shorter and a pound lighter). Her 70s also fit really well right now, although her playdress is already a little short. I am buying 80s in summer items and hoping the 70s we have will last us through early spring.

I think you should buy Dillan 80s. Last summer Ava had mostly 60s and a couple of 70s and the 70s looked good even though they were big. Playdresses especially would look fine if a little big.

Can I say how CRAZY it is that this post has gotten more than 560 views already!!

Anyway, my choices pretty much are along the lines of everyone else's. For baby girl my favorites are the multi-stripe playdress and the floral romper. I also love those red sandals! Have not had a chance to look at boys.

I will say however, that not much from the mommy hanna section was jumping out at me. However, like Denise said, I have to see the catalog - stuff looks nicer in print!

Marie, I am buying 90s. I know they'll be too big at the beginning of the summer but I think they'll last on into the fall and the weather doesn't start to cool off here until early October. I just got the blueberry dress in a 90 and tried it on her and it fit really well...just a touch big but looked right.

Anna -
You're blowing the restraint I'm trying to have!!! Even dh was shocked when I came home from the Hanna sale on Sunday and said he expected me to buy more (hmmm, maybe that's permission to do so ;) ).

I actually like the colors in the Gymbo one better, but the Hanna one would be more comfy for a wee one. I'll check them both out IRL and see.

OMG, I agree with all of you. The new Hannas are SO MUCH CUTER than Gymbo's new lines! I will definitely be changing my Gymbuck strategy today!

Now where's that code? Isn't about time for a new one?

For Ellen, I am buying size 90s. She still has some wiggle room in her 80s but I figure she will be popping out of them by the middle of summer, so I am getting 90s to be safe.

Here are my picks for Kathleen (oh dear!):

http://www.windsorpeak.com/dc/user_files/19592.jpg (fave piece of the new line)

http://www.windsorpeak.com/dc/user_files/19595.jpg (we loved this last year, and I LOVE the new colors)

http://www.windsorpeak.com/dc/user_files/19598.jpg (I have the ribbon pink ribbed capris--which I love--from last year to go with this)

And for Ellen, this outfit (everything but the shoes), and the yellow playdress set:

I saw a knock-off pair today at Walmart. The sandals have one flower on the front and the rubber is beige in color. The style looks to be the same though. And of course the price was something like $8.48.

Thanks, Heidi!! I really like your choices! But doesn't it seem like Baby Girl is more summery and Big Girl is more spring-ish? I really like those fun tees you posted pics of and the matching capris. And I really like the marshmallow pullover, but will it be practical in spring? It seems more "cold weather" to me.

Where are you going in CA?

I know that AG is a little bigger than EP, but I probably ought to buy 90s too, huh? Sigh... I really want that multi-colored playdress set in Baby Girl, but it only goes to an 80.

Thanks, Maureen! Love your choices! I'm loving the bright, fun, multicolored pieces. And the clogs are ADORABLE!! I am so tempted by them as well. They really do go with most of the pieces you picked, don't they? I think they are justified :). I can't wait for the code!!

Your thoughts on the clogs is kind of what I am thinking. I would never buy them to go with one outfit only--to me that is a waste. But if they match 5-6 outfits, then they do seem justified. At least to me they do! LOL! :)

And I do see what you mean about the baby items being summer-y and girl items being more spring-y. I love that marshmellow softie shirt, but I better order it now rather than later because with our blazing summers, there is no way that Kathleen could wear that in the summer. She would ROAST!

Now where is the code??!

I am in LOVE with some of the new items. I love the Red "By the sea" and the rose romper. They are already in my shopping cart. Now should I add the stripped pink playdress to it too? ;-)
