J&J Dragonfly Dream + New Swim Line on Tuesday!

I had some returns so I stopped by J&J today to check out the new line. I liked some pieces MUCH more IRL and some much less. The patchwork stuff is not my style, but the dobby pants and jumper are TDF. So nice and spring-y! I also did not love the dragonfly sweater and top. Both cardies are beautiful and so is the smocked one-piece.

I bought this for Ava, and I love the combo, but it's going back because the waist on the pants is HUGE! I am having this problem a lot with J&J lately.

There's a new swim line coming out on Tuesday with three suits and a couple of cover-up type pieces. One of the suits is a skirted style and it is stunning. I will be buying it right away as my store sells out of the swimsuits very fast. There is another one-piece and a very cute two-piece. I have a thing about two-pieces on little girls, but it tempted me anyway!

Thanks for the update. Since I don't have a J&J (closest is 8 hours away!), I was wondering if you happened to see the Kimono dress from Glistening Gems? If so, what did you think? I was thinking it would make a great Easter dress. They are out of the size I need online, so I'd have to call around. Any thoughts?

Yes, I've seen it and it is beautiful. It was a very close runner-up for Ava's first birthday dress. My store had a lot of sizes left, so you might try there. It's the one in Birmingham, AL.

ETA: I will be going by there Sun. or Mon. to do my exchange, so if you want, I could pick it up for you if they have Harper's size.

I think you're the first person I have "met" here who lives in B'ham also. We're moving to northern Virginia in a few weeks or I would suggest we get together sometime!

I had the same feeling about Dragonfly Dream. I really like the purple in it, but I'm not crazy about the patchwork. I did see it on a little girl, and she did look cute in it though. I love the outfit you bought, sorry it didn't work for Ava. You can't go wrong with the overalls, the are adorable.

Thanks for the update on the new swim line. I couldn't remember when my SM told me it was coming out. I was going to buy the WF bathing suit, but I might just wait now.
