J&J's Seaside Splash is up. I'm thinking about this suit, coverup and hat. Harper will most likely be in the 6-12 size this summer, but I've read about sizing up for swimsuits. Is this true for J&J as well? Also, do you think the halter style will be a bother around her neck?

Yay! I haven't liked any of Gymboree's swimsuits yet, so this may be the ticket for us. Love the colors in the halter suit and matching coverup, so I'll probably go ahead and order those. We'll be skipping the hat, though, since DD needs the kind that fasten under her chin. I ordered a red one from Hanna... hopefully it'll match. I'll probably order a 2T, which is the shirt size I've been buying for summer. With my DD, I haven't found it necessary to size up. I've found that swimsuits stretch a little when wet and after a bit of wear, and this is one piece of clothing that I want to fit fairly snugly.

I really love the new J&J swim line, too! I think the boys line is quite boring, though. Sorry moms of baby boys!

AG had one suit last year that went around her neck (it was a bikini, not a halter) and it didn't seem to bother her. I wonder about that problem, too, though. That was one of the things that made me uncertain about the Gymbo halter suit. I really like the combo that you posted and will definitely be getting the hat and coverup. I also like this suit:

What do you guys think of it? I don't care for the ruffle bikini that they have this time.

I don't think you need to size up in J&J suits normally. We had one last summer and it fit true to size.

Do y'all think that this is the last swim line of the season for J&J? I know that last year I thought both Gymbo and J&J would come out with one more line and they never did. Then I was bummed because I wanted to get something different for her and couldn't find anything I liked. :(

I liked that suit Denise posted when I looked online. I like the color and the print - don't know how I feel about the skirt though - definately would have to see it on.

I like this one too...reminds me of a Baby Lulu type print. So hard to decide!

the boys stuff is pretty boring in comparison to girls but when you compare it to gymbo swim lines, I LOVE IT!!

Here's what I'll be getting!!

and just because I like the colors of these stripes, I'll get this to wear with regular shorts!

I do however wish there was a coverup for boys!

I LOVE this suit! Snagged it right away this morning online (my store sells out of swimsuits SO fast). And just by chance I checked to see if anyone had returned the polka-dot suit from POE (the one that is so cute on Amy Grace) and they had! So I got that one in a 12-18 and the skirted suit in 18-24 for later in the summer. Now I just need to find one more suit!

Julia will love this one! She will only wear suits with skirts - she calls them her "fancies." She had the Tulip skirted suit from Gymbo last year and one other pink tank with ruffles. She *refused* to wear the tank! Just have to figure out what size as we're moving into 4s (except for pants) this spring...

Thanks! We are hoping to find out the gender in a few weeks. I would love another girl, so I can take re-use all of those bins of clothes I've been saving for the past 3 years, plus I'd go crazy getting matching sister outfits! (How shallow am I?!) But I'll be thrilled to have a little boy too. Will keep you posted. :)

Acccckkkkkkkkkkkkkk!!!! I love it all. While the boys got slim pickin's, what they did get is cute and in cool colors. LOVE the girls stuff. That blue floral suit is right up my alley.

Just as I feared, I love this new swim line. I promised myself that I'd only buy 2 bathing suits for dd this year. I already have the polka dot J&J one and the WF bathing suit. Both are adorable, but I LOVE this.

Was at J&J today and checked out the blue floral - it is gorgeous! I'm going to have to get that for DD. The price difference between Gymbo and J&J for a bathing suit is only 5.50! Gymboree is definitely inching its way up there in price!
