You guys HAD to show me another childrens clothing website didn't you? LOL Now I am in LOVE with this dress!

http://www.orientexpressed.com/assets/images/40-322.jpg

I am going to order it for Mayzie's 2nd Birthday, which isn't until July, but after seeing this dress, I know it is the one! I even had a dream about it last night. Anyway, how does their sizing run? Mayzie is 34 1/4 inches and 32lbs, and pretty firmly in a 2T at this point. She's a big girl. I know her growing has slowed down a bit, but I'm thinking of ordering a 3T. Do you think it would be too big?

Also, anyone have any experience with exchanges in case it doesn't fit? Do they have a return label or do you have to pay for shipping like Hanna?

I can't help you with the sizing - but someone else posted a version of that dress the other day - I tried to find it on their site, bbut could not.

Can you post the link to that page if its not too much trouble?

The halter dress starts at size 3T and the 2nd dress comes in 12mos, 18mos, and 24mos.

Vanessa, If you really want the halter version, I think a 3T would probably work. Really, based on your description of Mayzie and that she's already in a 2T, I don't think the 24mos version would work. I haven't bought from OE before but my experience with other brands of this type is that they run on the small side.

And drat, wouldn't you know it! You guys are changing my mind about this dress! I may have to get it, too. :)

I'd have to agree the sizing seems on the smaller size. I tried to look at their sizing chart & could not figure it out!!!

Just to gage Griffin wore a 12 month sized bubble for his 6 month pictures (he is on the long size & slender) for his 1st birthday portrait I got this

I orginally ordered 18 months but realized it would be too short & had to send it back for a 24 month size!!

I know that probably doesn't help you mamas of girls much but I do think their sizing runs small.

Love the dress for all the girlies!

You people are SO bad for me. I am loving the polka dot dress too. I passed on J&J's candy shoppe dress a few months back, but I like this even more. Very cute!!

I agree that the sizing runs small. DS has several OE outfits, and he seems to wear one size up in their clothes. LOVE that dress, by the way! :)
