I am in love with my sons new Ecco first walkers:

but I wonder how long he can wear first walker type shoes (the ones with the flexable sole). I bought them on sale for $27 so if he is going to be able to wear them for a while I will go back and buy the next bigger size too (maybe in navy). I first went to Stride Rite but had a realy hard time putting there first walkers on my sons feet. These just go right on. I think they are much nicer than the stride rite ones.

Kaitlin wore her first walkers for 4 months but it seems that kids' feet can have growth spurts almost overnight, so it probably varies for how long they can be worn.

I'm not sure if I'm understanding your question correctly, but my DD has been wearing Ecco's first walker shoes since this September, and she still has a plenty of extra toeroom now. She will be three in April. I love this shoes, too, much nicer than Stride Rites or Elefanten's, IMO.

If your daughter is still wearing them at age 3 then I will get the next bigger size to save until he outgrows these since they are on sale now and may not be latter on. I do love them so much (maybe more then his Robeez which I am sadly putting away). He is 15 months now so the two pairs may last us quite a while.

Thanks,

Jessica.

Jessica,

Where did you find the Eccos on sale? That is such a great price. DH and I both own Ecco's and love them. I'd really like to find some for Sarah.

Oh, I don't think it's too babyish at all for a two or three year old! In fact, few parents from her preschool wanted to know where I got them :-) I would def. get the next size up also if I were you. Sadly, Mia is wearing size 24, the largest size it comes in.

Not Jessica, but Hanna has this on sale for $27 or $28. Only navy left on website, but there may be more at the store....

They were having a big 40% off sale on alot of the kids shoes. I think the sale is at all the Ecco stores although I am not certain. I had seen these in the Hanna catalog but I wanted to try them on my son first to see if they would fit. They also had the boots on sale (the ones from the Hanna catalog).
