Review:
First off, fast shipping! I ordered Thursday afternoon and got my order today! I really like everything; the quality is great and the fabrics are nice.

the Mama clothes...
The red rose skirt is going back. I bought a 6 Petite and it fit pretty true to size, maybe a tad bit big. It's supposed to be A-line, but on me it doesn't hang right. It's very pretty, though.

The denim skirt is adorable! I got a 6 Petite and it fits true to size. The denim is very soft, not at all stiff. I like the length (just below the knee) and I think it will be very versatile.

The tees are great -- soft lightweight cotton, wrap neckline is cute and not at all low cut. I bought a M (I wear a small in Hanna Power tees for comparison) and they are big, but they have a tag that says they are sized to shrink, so I think they will be perfect after washing.

Ava's outfit...
This is cute! I sized up because all the GH stuff I have bought for Ava before ran small, but the jumper was huge on her. I got an 18 month and am exchanging for the 12 month. It's really cute and has adjustable straps, so I think we'll get a lot of wear out of it.

I also bought the tee shown in the pic, white with pink trim. I actually didn't like it with the jumper. I put a white puff-sleeve Gymboree onesie with it instead and it looked much cuter. I got the tee in a 2T. It was pretty big on Ava but also had the "sized to shrink" tag, so I am not sure if it would fit after washing. I am going to exchange for a 18 month to see if I like that better with the jumper.

-------------------------------
I got the GH catalog last night and everything is gorgeous! I have ordered bedding and a few things for Ava from them before, but I decided to try some of their clothes for me. So, guess Hanna won't be getting any of my "mama clothes" budget anytime soon!

I got:

No, I paid full price. Someone did post a 10% off code here, but it didn't work for me.

Hi, Robyn,

Cute choices! I especially like that jumper. Do you think Garnet Hill is going after some of Hanna's market share with its kids line? I noticed the emphasis on Danish green cotton, which reminded me of Hanna. And the price points seem similar to Hanna, but not quite as high.

Just curious about what others think.

Some of the new Lands End stuff is very Hanna-ish in styling as well. They've definitely been looking at the same catalogs that arrive at my door :)

How do they run?

I don't know yet, but I will post back when I get my order. I am kind of between sizes, especially with skirts and tops, so I was optimistic and ordered the smaller of the two sizes :)

That denim skirt is too cute. I'm going to have to go check it out.

Robyn,
I think that was a wise choice. I find Garnet Hill's own label to run quite large in Women's sizing. I wouldn't even be surprised if you found the *smaller* size a little big in some cases.
Well, I'll be interested to see if you have the same experience :)

Thanks for the review. I've been wondering how their clothes fit. They do have some cute stuff. But gee, for those of us who are still trying to loose our pg lbs, its a little hard to read about petite size 6s (lol) Hopefully they still run true to size at the other end of the scale. I might break down and check it out.

Oh no Robyn. . . I have been away from my computer for over a week and there you are, tempting us with all your finds. I must look on-line because I have thrown away all of the catalogs and the tees are calling my name. Congratulations on Ava walking BTW, I'm sure she'll keep you running now. : )
