Do the Gymbo Giraffe Club pants soften after washing?

I almost bought the giraffe print pants tonight but couldn't believe how stiff and scratchy they felt. Does this improve after washing? Or would I be better off with the striped velour pants? Thanks in advance.

They feel exactly the same even after washing many times. I should know, I have them.

So do your girls seem to be comfortable in them? Or would you recommend against buying them?

I have them for DD and they didn't soften up much. DD doesn't seem to mind at all though. I love those pants!!

My kids don't seem to mind wearing them. They are 1 and 4 years old. However, I don't seem to put them on them very much. The outfit is very limiting since you can only wear it really with Giraffe Club shirts.
