It's officially Easter Attire Obsessing Season over here in my little world. So, I've been thinking about what my kids will wear. I would really love to have the kids in matching outfits, but not sure if that will happen. Here are my options as I see them - let me know what you think.

1. Daisy could wear this. I bought this for a great price last year, and I love it; I'm just not sure what to put Owen in that would coordinate.

Owen has the Hanna 'story of a chick' sweater which doesn't have the exact blue of the dress... but would they look OK together? And what pants should I pair it with, and what should he wear underneath it?
This is an auction with a picture of his sweater

2. I would love to buy them OE smocked clothes. They are expensive though. If I bought Daisy this dress which should I put Owen in - the giraffe or the green? Is the giraffe to babyish? He's 19 months. And if I did the green shortalls, what would I put under it? I'm assuming it will still be cold so he couldn't be shirtless.

3. These talbots outfits are cute. I love the seersucker overalls which come in green also. I really like the giraffe sweater vest except for the fact that I don't know if I want Owen to wear sweater vests this young. They seem older boy to me.

I make myself crazy with this silly stuff!

I don't know how dressy you want to go. If you are looking for more dressy - I would skip the Hanna stuff. I think the OE dress is really sweet - and of the 2 matching boy outfits - I would go with the green gingham shortalls - the giraffe one seems babyish. You could put a white polo-collar shirt underneath maybe?

I also like the Talbots outfits, but I think the giraffe vest is really cute and would look cute with the dress. I don't think that vest is too boyish because of the giraffe. It is more suited for a younger boy like your son. But then again, my son has worn vests and khakis for Easter since he was 9 mos - so I am biased :)

Don't know if my opinions helped or not

I say go with the OE dress and either of the shortalls. If you get the green one, OE has little Peter Pan collar shirts that can go under it in chilly weather:

Then in the summer, he could wear it without the shirt. If you get the green shortall, you could get it monogrammed with his initials or his name. [One word of caution on the OE items - I would call and make sure they will arrive in time. It can take up to 10 weeks for their items to arrive, because they are handmade after you order them. Since Easter is so early, they might arrive too late].

The Hanna dress is darling, but I personally like to do dressier outfits for Easter. I like the Talbots sweater vest, too, but I'm not as into that look for younger toddlers - That's strictly a personal preference thing, though! It's really cute.

You've got some great choices! :)

My personal favorite is the OE dress and the giraffe outfit. I don't think that the giraffes are too babyish and can be worn up to about 2 years. Especially since it's not a "bubble" outfit with elastic around the legs. I don't think the green overalls match nearly as well although they are very cute.

I wonder if Hanna will come out with something similar to last years' stuff and you'll be able to get something for Owen to match Daisy's Hanna dress? It's a really pretty dress but I'm with you...vests are not baby enough for 19months. He's got *forever* to wear vests. :)

my vote OE! love, love, love it - and of course $$$! I would put the white collared peter pan shirt underneath (we'll be doing the same here) & a cardigan button sweater if it is chilly.

Mary, my vote is the OE orange smocked outfits. They are fabulous! And I don't think the orange shortall is too babyish for Owen. I know that if I had a boy I would put him in shortalls probably until he was a little over 2. What I remember most of holidays growing up was my little brother wearing his short outfits with white knee socks and his little saddle shoes--classic, I think! Plus, I love that orange color!

Another vote for the OE outfits. I would put Owen in the giraffe shortalls. He would look so adorable. Post pics when you decide.
