Well, Kaleb's birthday party is only 10 days away and I've decided that I want a bulldozer shirt for him to wear since we are having a construction themed party. Or a backhoe, excavator etc.
CWD kids has this shirt in the catalog. It is by SPUDZ - part of Sweet Potatoes.

I think that I remember seeing it in a long sleeve version this winter. I called, and they are out. I have been searching around online and have only come up with an ebay auction for a 2T. We need a 3T - bummer! I have been checking with local stores that carry Sweet Potatoes and no luck so far.

Has anyone seen this shirt? Or, something else that would work? DS really likes this book called "Diggers and Dumptrucks" and says that he is going to be a backhoe when he grows up!

If anyone is in a store carrying SP that has this shirt, would you grab one for me? I can send paypal. The one I saw on ebay was blue.

Thanks for any help! If I spent half as much time cleaning my house as I do dressing my kids, I wouldn't have to hire a cleaning lady!! LOL!

I found some on a couple of different websites, but couldn't find a 3T.

But what about this one? They have a 3T.

They also have this very cute dumptruck sweater in a 3T (also SPUDZ).

I'm going to keep looking for you though. I love a challenge like this. :-)

I saw those and might get the dirt crane one. The book that DS likes doesn't have a crane in it, but it does label all the parts of the diggers and he likes to point out the cab, exhaust stack etc.

I did find a Sweet Potatoes retail store in Danville, California that has a bulldozer sweatshirt in stock. They are new though and the manager agreed to ship it to me but won't be in until Sunday and can ship on Monday. I'm worried that I may not get it soon enough for his party. I've received Naartjie stuff 2 days after ordering, but being new, they might not get it out quickly enough. (I'm in Ohio!)

Thanks for looking! Let me know if you find anything else!!

Does the Gymbo Dig, Dig, Dig sweater interest you at all? I found this one on ebay in 3T:

Thanks everyone! I think that I am going to take a chance that the one from California can arrive in time. I actually do have that Gymbo sweater already - on clearance last year! DS wore it the other day, and I don't know if I really like the way it fits him. It seemed almost too small (3T) even though that's what he wears in everything else. I will use it though as a backup if the other doesn't get here.

I found it today in a 4 at a sample sale - but I couldn't remember what size you were looking for! Do you still need it? If so I will try and pick it up in the morning (no other sizes though) - it was $21 (I think).

Naomi,
I was looking for a 3T, but DS does have a couple of shirts that are 4's and fit ok. Was it the long sleeve version? What color? I wonder if the sleeves would be too long.

I think that I am interested still - do you think you could get it to me this week? I'm in Ohio and want him to wear it next Saturday for his party.

If it's not too much trouble and is the long sleeve, go ahead and get it. You can email me through the boards and I'll give you more info.

Thanks so much!

It was a 4 and looked largish, but short sleeves (I think). My son is 28 pounds and 35 inches and it looked too big for him this year, if that gives you an idea. Current trend is a long sleeved shirt under a T so you could try that. I tried emailing but it didn't work - I hate to rush you but it was a sample sale (yesterday and today). If you want it and get this message in the next hour please write back and tell me because I will have to go today.

Naomi,
Thanks so much for your help. I think that I will pass since I'm not sure that it will fit. I may just order the short sleeved one from CWD kids and do as you suggest with the long sleeve shirt under and then he can wear it this summer too. That way I can get the 3T and be sure it fits ok.
I really appreciate your offer.
