I couldn't keep out of the mall at lunch today. Hanna finally got in the By the Sea Dress that I have been dying to get for Sarah. I think it's the first Hanna item I've paid full price for. The sad thing is the Sales Associate who got it out of the back gave me an 80 dress and 90 capris. Gee... no wonder they looked so big. :(

Then I hit Naartjie. The shirt is 18-24 cloud and the pants are 12-18 bluebell. The sad thing is I didn't realize the shirt had a button at the neck until after I had put it on and taken it off poor Sarah. I was about to curse the neck opening when I saw the button. I had wanted fluffy and VF was completely sold out of the shirt in fluffy. I'm so glad I ended up with Cloud. The picture does not do the color justice. It's beautiful.

She looks so beautiful! I love her smile :) Blue is definitely her color- but I love the BTS dress, too. Thanks for sharing!

That's too bad about the BTS capris. Since the two pieces are only sold as a set, you'd think they'd be packaged/hung together. It looks adorable on her anyway, though. The cloud top is beautiful on her. I agree that the color is much prettier IRL.

I had to laugh when I read your post because I made the same mistake with the button on the M&P Tunic. Poor DD was very upset when I forced it over her big noodle. Luckily I noticed the button before I took it off! The button certainly helps, but I wish they had just made the neckline stretchier. DD hates being dressed and undressed these days, so the fewer buttons/snaps/zippers, the better!

I made the same mistake with our tunic at first, too! She sure did squeal when I tried to put it on still buttoned.

The BTS set is very cute, although those pants are huge. I would definitely take them back and exchange them for an 80, especially if they are sold as a set in the store. I really like the cloud top with the bluebell bottoms. We only have winter bluebell bottoms but after seeing how good this combo looks, I may have to get some spring ones to go with our cloud tops.

Sarah is adorable! Both outfits look so fabulous on her! The BTS dress is so cute...too bad you ended up with the wrong size. I wonder what will end up in your bag when you go to exchange them? ;) And cloud is a gorgeous color on Sarah! I think fluffy would have been really good, too, but cloud is just stunning. Thanks for sharing!

Sarah looks adorable. Funny, we did the same thing with the neck opening of the tunic. Kailey was screaming as I was pulling it over her head. Finally, I saw the button-LOL!

CUTE, CUTE, CUTE :)

Thank goodness I have to order both Naartjie & Hanna!! I would be in serious trouble if a B&M store was nearby - LOL!

Beautiful! Sarah is just too cute!
Tammie, what are Sarah's stats? I am wondering now if I should have got 18-24 months. rats.

Rashmi,

Sarah was 31 inches tall and 20 pounds at her 15 month check up (one month ago). The naartjie pants I bought are 12-18 months and they are a little big. If I cloth diapered (you do right?), I think they would fit fine. I'm hoping they shrink a little in the wash. She still fits into her 6-12 month pants from last summer (the boho line), but they are definitely getting small and I want these pants to last for awhile.

Thanks Tammie! I think the 12-18 will be fine then because leela is 28.5 inches now... we do cloth diaper and the pants I can roll up i suppose. Fingers crossed with the sizing.. naartjie is so unpredictable!
leela was wearing her 3-6mos from the Hollan Flowers line today and it fit fine! :)

Tammie,

Sarah looks adorable in the By the Sea outfit. She looks so ready for summer. I'm jealous that you found the wrap tunic in cloud, I tried several stores and noone had a 18-24 months. She looks gorgeous in that color.

Sarah looks so sweet in her new outfits. We have the cloud top too, and I also didn't see the button the first time around. They sent us bluebell pants in addition to the cloud, by mistake, but I decided to keep them because I thought they went well. Our Sarahs could be twins! :) I hope you're able to get the correct size capris because that set looks adorable. It's probably a good thing I don't have Hanna and Naartjie stores nearby. . .

Hi, Tammie,

Aw... Sarah looks so lovely in her new clothes! I love the cloud color-- I think it's my favorite. I'm trying very hard to stay away from VF these days. That Hanna dress is adorable on SM-- I'm sure you'll get lots of wear out of it this summer. She looks like she needs the 80 pants, though. I guess you'll just have to make another trip back to the mall..
