Just wanted to post a couple of pics of some of our new things! We are lucky to have a Gap Outlet just three blocks away that gets in some great things. They are running a 20% off sale right now on all baby clothes and they've got some absolutely adorable things!

We got this romper and hat. Ava had a pair of capris in this plaid last summer and it was one of my favorite outfits, so I couldn't resist. The outlet has a dress and the capris in this fabric also, as well as tee to match the capris.

I bought this top for $7 last summer at the Gap, but they didn't have any bottoms to match. Well the outlet had these gingham capris and a reversible polka-dot/gingham hat. The pic doesn't do this set justice -- it is TDF!

On to J&J... Ava and I met up with Lisa (lrucci) and Kyleigh today for a little J&J trip. Kyleigh is even more adorable in person! Ava got these overalls, which I absolutely love. Here they are with and without the onesie. I like them both ways. The onesie is especially cute b/c the embroidery is done with ribbons!

We also got this -- gorgeous!

And off the sale rack, this set from Peace on Earth. So cute! Don't you love my little shopper? :)

Ava, once again you've picked up some adorable stuff. Everything is so cute! I love the fact that the Gap outlet always seems to have stuff that they had last year, or it was last year's fabrics in different pieces.

OK, I am also thinking that hands-down Ava is the best-dressed kid on the Layette board. Seriously, her wardrobe is amazing! :)

My favorite is the polka-dot shirt with matching hat. I just love, love, love it!

Robyn,

Ava is just too sweet. I love the pictures w/the hats. The FB overalls are TDF. I can't remember, did you get the 6-12 months?
Is that the 12-18 FB white blouse. I tried the top on Kyleigh and the 18-24 is big on her, so I'm thinking you should be ok with the 12-18. I'm so glad you found those POE pants today, that outfit is so cute.

BTW, Ava is so sweet and has such a wonderful personality.

Thanks! We loved meeting you and Kyleigh! It was so much fun!

I got the 6-12 overalls and the 18-24 bodysuit and both fit perfectly. And yes, that is the 12-18 white top in these pics -- I am definitely taking back the 18-24. Ava's just all over the place on sizing these days -- as you can see, those POE pants (0-6) fit perfectly along with the 12-18 top!!! Crazy but it all looks cute, so who cares?

Ava looks absolutely adorable in everything! My favorites are the first and the last outfits- I'm a complete sucker for little girls in plaid. I know you mentioned that you moved recently and I'm wondering if you're in a warmer climate, since we won't be able to wear great outfits like that for atleast 2-3 months. Yesterday, Maddie wore her apple green lined velvet overalls from the Gap outlet.
In fact we're expecting snow with "significant accumulations" as the weathermen say. UGH!
Please keep sharing the pictures of your little cutie pie. They help me remember that eventually this weather will end.

Sadly we moved from the South (Birmingham) northward to the DC area. So, we are expecting snow tomorrow too, and it won't be warm enough to wear all these cute clothes for another few months. But it's fun to try them all on her!

In the meantime, I am trying to enjoy all of my favorite winter outfits on Ava before it gets warm and I have to put them all away :)

Ava looks absolutely adorable in her new outfits! I *love* the polka dot/gingham outfit... too cute! And the second J&J outfit is gorgeous. I may have to rethink that one for Kendall!

Welcome to the neighborhood! We live in Suburban MD. There's no J&J in Maryland, so I have to drive all the way to Tyson's Corner (all of 20 minutes, so I'm only half complaining).

Oh! Too cute!! I love everything but my favourite is the polka dots. Girlie, we need to get together soon! arrgh.. we are practically NEIGHBOURS and have not met. How about next week sometime? We can go to Keedo if you like. :)
Have you checked out the Lily Pulitzer store yet? How about Nina's Closet?

AvasMama

Yes, that would be great! I am free every day after 3. Keedo would be fun!

Have not been in Lilly in years, but I am sure I will be tempted now that I have Ava. What is Nina's Closet? I just saw a cute consignment shop in Del Ray tonight called The Purple Goose -- had Hannas in the window! -- that I am dying to check out.

Keedo is a South African brand that is supposed to be similar to Naartjie. There are only two stores in the US that I know of and both are in NoVA -- one in Alexandria and one in Arlington. I haven't been yet, but Rashmi knows I am dying to check it out as I love Naartjie!

The Purple Goose looked really nice. We were on our way to dinner at the Evening Star Cafe -- my fave! -- and it was closed, but there was a Hanna Three Sisters dress from last year in the window and lots of other cute things. Definitely pretty upscale for a consignment shop!

I have never been to the Purple Goose.. must go check it out.
Nina's Closet is on King St. Small little boutique with not that many clothes but fun to see anyway. They do have Fleurville diaper bags and other such stuff too.

Robyn,

I love Ava in her new clothes!! She's so cute! And, I agree, she's definitely up for the best dressed baby on the board!!

I love the outfits you chose. I saw some of the same things at our Gap outlet last week.

I'm contemplating that J&J one-piece for EP. Do you think it is too babyish for an almost 2-year old?

AvasMama

Thanks! I don't think it is too babyish for EP; it is very girly and sweet. I think she would look really cute in it.

How cute! Ava looks gorgeous, as always. I really love, love, love the red Gap outfit! Terrific!! Also all the J&J outfits are too cute! Great picks, Mama. :)

All of it is adorable!! (so is your model!) I wish we had a gap outlet near us! :)

She's such a cutie as always. I am normally not a fan of the Gap but I absolutely love both of those outfits. The madras romper kind of reminds me of the madras romper that LE has now. I think the 2nd Gap outfit is my favorite.

Adorable outfits! I think you just sold me on the white blouse with the pink ribbon and the flowered pants from J&J. I have a gift card burning a hole in my pocket!
