Bibs have become part of Cadie's wardrobe as she spits up so much. So which are your favs? The softer/bigger/more absorbant/easier on the neck the better.
She's not eating solids yet, so really the bibs are to catch the spit-up.

My favorites are from Mudpie Babies! I know I haven't used any bibs yet but I have collected a bib stash from WAHMs, and Steph's are the best! She will back them with anything you want (fleece, hemp, etc.) and makes side-snapping or back snapping and they are much more generously sized.

Don't you have a custom with her? :) You can even order them if you don't so if you have already turned in your custom order, just have her add some bibs!

ETA: Here is a link to her bib page, and that one is one of ours. :) I forgot to mention that they are only $6! :)

We very rarely used bibs, but I had a few that I loved. They are made in Maine and the brand is A Mom Who Knows. They're sold in a lot of boutiques around here, but I know that Blueberry Babies sells them:

My daughter is past the spit-up stage, but we still use bibs at mealtime, as she is a VERY messy girl! My favorite bibs are made by a great mom named Kristine, her ebay id is gymbib - she makes bibs out of soft kitchen towels and cute fabric (both gymboree and non-gymbo) - they are large and soft and SO cute! I'm not affiliated with her in any way - just LOVE her bibs! :-)

I too love the bibs made by A Mom who Knows. We're just starting solids but I have always loved the towel type bib that you pull over the babies head - that way the baby can't get it off. The towel bibs are very absorbent as well. Towel bibs are hard to find but whenever I come across one, I pick it up (as long as it's a cute one).

Another company that makes towel pull over bibs is Mullins Square - I've picked up the pink poodle one - haven't used it yet but it is very nice and they have great designs. Their bibs are bigger than the ones by A Mom Who Knows. You can find them at:

Another vote for bibs by A Mom Who Knows. I found them at a Rugged Bear Store. They're really big and absorbant. They come in great colors and designs.

Once she starts eating, and into toddlerhood, my vote is for http://www.abetterbib.com - so great.

For the stage you are in, I was permanently stuck with a flat fold birdseye diaper folded in half on my shoulder or partially around her neck for the first six months of poor Sydney's life. The spit-up was continuous it seemed. :( The others (actual bibs) that worked well for me were made of terry - absorbent and not as likely to leak through onto outfits. So if you can find some made of terry, that might be a great choice.

I had a major spitter or as the Dr. says a "happy spitter" - he clearly was not cleaning up. Anyway I posted about a company called Silly Billyz a while ago, here's the link:

Everyone I know who has ordered has not been disappointed! We still wear them every day- now because of drool and no stains, still look great which I can't say about my other bibs.

I know it seems crazy to order a bib from N.Z. but ultimately it wasn't any more expensive than what I could find here.

I love A Better Bib for my 2 year old. He actually likes wearing them (they have a Bob the Builder print) and they keep him very clean.

Check Kidsurplus.com for Kushies (Kooshies?) and Bumkins cotton spit/drool bibs. They have great deals but you have to catch the site on the right day.

I like the bibs from Wal-mart. They are a soft, absorbant terry cloth front, with a rubberized backing. Softness, absorbancy, and waterproofness has been an absolute must for me. These clean up great too-no stains at all!
