For once, the boys' line looks promising. I like some of the outfits in the Rainforest line, especially the shirts with the trucks. All of the girls' lines are up + some of the pieces from the boys' lines are showing up as well. We are expecting a lot of show so I'm window-shopping online!

I like the little girls' Summer Fun line. This might be a stretch, but it looks very Lily Pulitzer to me (but much more affordable).

I like the boys line too. It looks like some cute and colorful t-shirts which is what I like for summer. I have no gymbucks though so I will be waiting until they go on sale.

I am usually not a Gymbo fan but like the Summer Fun line! :)

I was wondering what you guys were talking about! I looked at the boys' line and it was blah with almost nothing there. Then I realized: I had been looking at Kid Boy and you all were looking at Baby Boy.

Let me pause for a moment to lament my tall children who need bigger sizes. :(

ETA:

The Kid Girl line is nice. I like some of the tops but the dresses aren't doing it for me. I love the blue dot print in the swimsuit line but the suit there is a 2 piece! Never again... why couldn't they have it in a tank???????

Great colors! But I'm not all jazzed by the styles. I mean, that bold pink print is so cute and they could've done a fabulous dress in big girl. Instead they throw out this "mod" dress that is way too funky IMO. Why can't they do some classic styles?

I see 1 outfit for each girl that I like and that's it. Good thing I don't have any GBs. :) I'll wait for it to go on sale. There's always one around the corner! LOL!

I like the girls' Summer Fun line but I'm not *loving* it... a good thing since I don't have any GymBucks this time around! I think I'll buy 1 outfit from this line during the next sale. We don't really need any more long pants or capris, so I'm focusing on shorts at this point. At first glance, these are the contenders:

Love this outfit, but it's not very practical for my DD (who already has too many "just for show" clothes).

Summer Fun is adorable. I just love the bright pinks and greens. Here are some of my favorite pieces:
This a-line top will look so cute with the hot pink twill shorts we ordered from Land's End!

I love this outfit and I might even consider it for Eva's birthday party at Gymboree Play and Music. I worry that it may not be dressy enough for a birthday but it is ay Gymboree P&M. Any opinions?

This is a perfect daycare outfit. The top is only available in Kid Girl, but I think we could get away with a size 3 in this style top over bike shorts.

I love this dress and might consider it for a birthday dress, but it is a Kid Girl item and DH was concerned it is a little too "shapely." Surely a size 3 dress would not have an hourglass shape. Or would it? Again, I worry about being able to move around in this dress on the play equipment. Any opinions?

Lisa,

I might have to add that second outfit to my list as well. Yet another great daycare outfit. :-)

Is it just me? Why are all of the boy items coming up as sold out already? Isn't this brand new?

I was wondering the same thing. Does anyone know if any of this will be up in time for Gymbucks redemption.

Ever since they redesigned their website, I find it very frustrating. Why can I only see five or six items in the Rainforest line, and all of those are shoes, socks, sunglasses, etc. Is it just that they are still adding them or am I doing something wrong?

Deborah, I noticed the same thing and thought I was going nuts! I think it's a problem with the boys's lines, because when you look at any of the new girls' lines, you see the 50+ items in that line. I think they've got some kind of glitch. Very frustrating. I'd love to get a good luck at the boys' lines because I think I may acutally like them, and I need to start shopping for spring and summer.

If you click on the search button at the top + type in rainforest + select baby boy you will be able to see the line. HTH!

There are a few things that look promising from Summer Fun. I like some of the things pp have posted, plus the pink polka dot capris look so cute. I don't have any GB to spend (that is a first!) so I'll wait for a sale before I buy anything.

ETA: These are my possibilities:

I don't think all the boys stuff is up. The same with girls layette. There are a few items from the girl's line that are only showing availability in a few sizes, I think it's just a little clitch as they put everything up. I can't imagine things are sold out already.

Ooh! I am pleasantly surprised with SF. I think I will break my no-Gymbo rule and get an outfit.

This is my fave online:

But I think this is cute, too:

And I like this dress a lot, though we already have way too many dresses for summer:

While there are a few cute things in Kid Girl, Baby Girl is so much cuter! I am so sad Julia is in a size 4 now...

And what is with these super short shorts and mico mini dresses? My daughter is 3, not 16! :(

Well, Parker really needs some clothing but it appears that the kid boy section isn't entirely up yet. Keeping my fingers crossed that there will be some cute things.

I like the newborn girls line. The fruit/watermelon stuff is really cute. Unfortunately, I'm afraid to get any of it because AG is moving out of those sizes.

The Summer Fun line is really cute but I don't think we'll end up with much of it. I'm disappointed that it's mostly capris. The shorts are mostly boring to me since bike shorts aren't my thing. I like several of the tops but not many of the non-capri bottoms and we already have plenty of capris. I do like a couple of the swimsuits so we'll probably end up with one of those unless J&J comes out with something irresistable! LOL! I think I like the blue/green SF items better than the pink ones. It seems like everyone else likes the pink better.

Veronica, of course you have picked out 2 of the 3 items I like: the print A-line tank for Ellen. Adorable! (I have it paired with the green polka dot bubble shorts.) And the striped dress for Kathleen!

Great minds... :)

I think the new lines are cute. I don't have any Gymbucks this time though (yay-- it is such a relief!), so I won't be buying any of this for a while. I like many of the same outfits that you all have already posted. I'm sure that I'll get one for EP eventually (once it is marked down), but I'm not in any rush to buy such summery clothing right now.

And, once again, I don't like the Kid Girl items nearly as much as Baby Girl. Some of the shorts look *so* short and the pants and shorts look like low-riders. I'm pretty much about to say "Gymboree who?" in regards to Anneliese. And it is getting easier with Lands End, Mini Boden, Gap, etc.

I like it. I prefer the pink pieces to the green and blue ones. When all is said and done, we'll probably have 1-2 outfits. I'm still not into shopping for summer clothes yet, especially since we're in the middle of a snow storm! No gymbucks this time around, so I'm hoping for some good sales after the redemption period.

Denise - I agree with you on the Blue-Green SF items. I like those colors much better than the pinks. I am totally loving the blue-green flower print swimsuit! I don't have any GB (spent it all on Naartjie, LOL), though, so I'll be waiting for a sale.

I did this and it works, but I still feel like I'm not seeing it right, like it's all scattered and unorganized. It's just pi$$ing me off!

But thank you for the info, Jenn :)

I just love that print a-line tank. I think it is my favorite piece. You will have to post picture of Kathleen in the striped dress if you get it. I can't decide whether or not to get it for Eva's birthday. I just love the bright colors. They remind me that Spring is right around the corner!

So, now I have to know; what is the third piece you chose? I may have just over looked it! :-)

OMG, you're right! There are actually some cute boys things. At least I can use my gymbuck for something now :D
