My son is 3 months and gets out of his swaddle blanket, so I would like to begin using a sleep sack. But with his arms free he grabs his face and head a lot and scratches himself. I have his nails trimmed as short as possible. Does anyone know of any sleep sacks that are made with mittened hands?

Hmmm, I'm not sure how warm you need the sleep sack to be, but we live in Southern California, so I just bought one from a Hanna outlet that is made of just cotton jersey. It has long sleeves and the sleeves fold over at the end to make mittens. The only thing is that it doesn't zip up all the way, it has a fold-over bottom on the gown that buttons. I haven't used it yet, but it's super cute, and it was on sale. I don't know if the other outlets have them (they seem like they were made especially for the outlets), but I got mine from the Colorado Mills store...

HTH!
