I still need to buy Gillian her Easter dress. I *think* I'm going to recycle Gillian's 1st Easter dress and wear it on Cameron, but I haven't decided yet. I'm not sure if I want to go the matching route or not. Money is tight, thus my lack of posts on this board lately ;), so I don't want to spend a lot - $40 tops and something under $30 would be great. I have traditionally gone with a fancy dress and if I wear Gillian's dress on Cameron, it will be a fancy yellow gingham. I would like to find something in blue for Gillian, since she's never had a blue dress yet. The smocked dresses are NMS, so where should I look? Thanks in advance.

I've found almost all of Kylee's dressier dresses at Baby Depot. Seems odd, but it's really the only place around here I've found that carries that type of stuff. They're usually pretty cheap too. Here's a couple of examples...

I haven't bought one for this easter yet either, so I'm anxious to see what everyone has to say!

Personally, I don't spend a ton for Easter. Everyone is pretty casual at our celebrations and we don't go to church, although we should!

Our dress is the Gymbo pink lacey dress from last year that we got as a gift. The gift giver bought it way too big, so it works for this year. I saw some adorable Laura Ashley dresses at Costco-I forget how much $$ they were. Seriously, they looked similar to Janie and Jack, but sleeveless. I also saw some cute things at Marshalls. They just got a whole bunch of adorable, fancier-type dresses. Personally, I would save the money and recycle the dress on Cameron. Easter is only one day and that $$$ could go to an outfit that would last a whole season.

BTW: I just realized that this is the first time that I have heard your DD's names. They have such pretty names.

Those are both beautiful dresses and your sweetie is just adorable. I love her big eyes and chubby cheeks. The first dress is similar to Gillian's first Easter dress. The second reminds me of her first birthday dress. It was from Gymboree. We must have similar tastes in dresses.

Thanks for the compliments on the names. I've just decided to "come out of the closet" with their names. I figured since their are two now, it's getting harder to differentiate them on the board.

I hope I am not stating the obvious but how about Marshall's? I saw some beutiful dresses in there last week, lots of different styles.

I wondered about that! Their names are both beautiful! :)

I know Karen (stillplayswithbarbies) got a pretty dress recently at TJMaxx. Do you have one nearby?

I did see Karen's post and I am going to check TJMaxx. They just built one before the Holidays. I just don't get out much these days. :(

We don't have a Marshall's locally, but I believe there is one within an hours drive. I've never been in it, but I'm going to have to check it out the next time I'm out that way.

There are some pretty dresses at April Cornell, some of them are blue. http://www.aprilcornell.com/infants.html. And I understand that you can use this code for $20 off a $40 purchase. f16414
