A friend of mine gave me a Gymbuck today...

she got two from Gymboree Play & Music and she doesn't shop at Gymbo much so had no use for two Gymbucks. It has no receipt stapled to it or anything. Will I have any problems? Do the Play & Music ones work differently (meaning no receipt necessary)?

My sister got one from her play class and it didn't come with a receipt either. Can't help you with redeeming it as she's not tried yet. HTH

Redeeming Gymbucks: March 3 - March 13, 2005
Retail Stores and gymboree.com: Gymbucks may be redeemed at any US or Canadian Gymboree retail store or gymboree.com on listed dates. Only one $25 Gymbucks coupon can be redeemed for each $50** increment. Original receipt (when Gymbucks were earned) must be stapled to Gymbucks coupon in order to redeem. An original receipt is not necessary to redeem Gymbucks earned at a Play & Music location.
