I am looking for a snap suit/onepiece with long sleeves and legs, a hat and maybe some socks! Blue and turquoise or blue and green maybe??? Thinking newborn/0-3 month size...

That or maybe I will try my hand at tye dying ... anywhere to get just white cotton snap onepieces and hats that would be good for dying???

Anyone seen anything like this???

Thanks ladies!

Dharma is the place most WAHMS seem to get their stuff for dying. They have white clothes in a ton of styles, dyes, books on how to tye dye, etc. Here's the link:

I've never ordered from her, but a lot of moms have play silks from bumbershootbaby and love them. Juliet is a BBB mom, and she has clothes on her site.
I've ordered from Shelly at Tye Dye Dreams. She dyed an adorable marble blue/white romper and hat for my DS last summer, and painted a cute turtle on the front. She does great work, but I have to warn you that her custom orders can take forever. I waited 2 months or more both times I ordered. So, I would only order something custom from her if you aren't in a hurry. She usually has a lot of cute stuff in stock, too.

Oh man, does Juliet have these pics up on her site? Leela and Kayla are adorable. And that's great testimony--a hand-dyed product looking new after a year is really impressive. Yay, Juliet! :)

I had never, ever tie dyed anything in my life until I went to a recent baby shower. One of the hostesses had bought a ton of onesies, t-shirts, sleepers, terry cloth hooded towel, etc. (all white) from a second hand shop (cheap but all in great condition) or from Target. They had it set up to tie dye and we all tie dyed different items. Everything turned out great! I couldn't believe mine actually worked. Sorry I don't have pictures to share. It wasn't too messy (there were several pots of color) and fun. A neat idea instead of the traditional games. Go for it, try your hand at it. I never would have tried it on my own.
