New line on Gymboree site: Tropical paradise

I'm surprised no one has mentioned that Gymboree has a new line out. Not really my favorite line, but there are a couple of cute things there. Not sure I'll bite this time. :)

The boys' lines are nothing original IMO. I think I'll pass. I like the butterflies for the big girls. I never tire of those. I might get a couple things from that line. I would probably get more, but I'm a bit conservative for all the halter/spaghetti strap tops and some of the colors don't work for my dd. I'm bummed about the tankini. I think it's very cute, but that is one color my dd definitely can't pull off. The butterfly slides are adorable. Too bad my dd already has soooo many shoes. If someone sees the dress that matches the mama dress IRL I would love some feedback on how "yellow" the background shade is. I like the print, but generally need cool tones as does my dd. TIA~

I like it - A LOT! I think the colors and prints are really different, but they work well together.

In addition, I like the basic tanks and some of the bike shorts. I really wish they made the tankinis in baby girl sizes. Since Gillian is potty trained, I'm thinking the one piece is going to be a real pain this summer. Maybe she'll be able to wear a 3.

I think the new boys' lines are cute. They're reminiscent of previous lines but I like the Hawaii theme for summer. At this point, my DS is set for the summer but I'll probably pick up the bus shirt + socks to go with Khaki shorts he already has in his collection! I also like the rompers but I'm still on the fence about how he'll look in rompers at 2.

considering Holden's LOVE for orange, I'm sure we'll own quite a bit of the baby boy pieces, onesie styles be damned! I may see about having someone convert them to tee styles for me, as I really like the looks of some of the onesie style shirts.

Kidboy once again, disappoints me! :(

Overall I'm not crazy about it, though there are a few pieces that I like. I may end up buying this - it looks very cool and comfy.

Well, I like *some* of it but really not most of it. Can someone please explain to me what butterflies and hula have to do with each other? weird.

But, all of that being said, I probably won't end up with much from this line since I still have a Hanna order to place and I really love Naartjie's newest line. Plus, who knows what's around the bend? At Gymbohaven folks who've seen the lookbook say the next line is the colors from Splash which I absolutely loved! :)

This line isn't doing it for me, which is probably a good thing with all the money I've spent at Naartjie.

But to add to Denise, my SM said the next line is "At the pool" and is a lot of blues like Splash and a true summer line. We have several splash pieces for this summer (including the Mommy dress), so I can't wait to see that line.
