Baptism outfit?

Hi all,

I'm delurking to ask a question about baptism clothing!
We're going to baptize our little boy next month in the Episcopal Church, and he will be ten months old. my husband and I both have our christening dresses from infancy, but we were baptized at one and two months respectively, so they won't fit him. Plus, it just seems funny to put our almost walking sturdy boy in a filmy, lacy white gown.

I'd love to hear what your children wore, and what you have seen other people do. I don't want to do anything extra fussy, and thought I might just dress him in something fancy for him--a button down shirt and pants, and maybe a sweater vest over it.

What do you think?

Charlie was christened last December at 7 months and wore something very similar to this from Talbots. I wouldn't have picked it by pictures alone but once I saw it in the store and tried it on him, it was perfect.

We actually own the second Strasburg outfit (posted above), and I looooove it. DS wore it for his one year portrait, and it looked so sweet. I love the other two outfits the PP listed as well!

That's a good idea--if I get it for baptism, then I can use it again for a one year photo, makes it worth the cost--love it!
