Gymboree Swim Trunks for Babies

DS will be 9 mos when we hit the beach this summer and I have been on the lookout for diaper swimsuits. But I see Gymboree has swim trunks for babies starting at 3 mos. Are the trunks good for babies or should I stick with the diaper covers?

We had Luke in Gymboree swin trunks last summer (he was a little over a year). Personally I love them over a swim diaper. They cover up more of his legs then a diaper cover would (which I guess to me seems like it would be more comfortable if he is sitting in the sand and with the matching tee shirts they make a cute outfit

The swim trunks essentially go OVER the swim diapers, that's what I saw everybody do at my swim class for babied 6-12 months. And then a few moms (including me) only had the swim diapers. HTH.
