Hi all!

A few weeks ago several of us posted about how excited we were to take vacations, and that we were particularly excited, as the reality layette devotees that we are, about breaking out some of the new spring and summer clothes we had waiting in the wings. In that vein, here are a few pics of Meredith during her first Disney trip 2 weeks ago. This vacation brought to you by the Gym-mark corporation, with a minor Hanna sponsorship!

Thanks for looking. :-)

Gymbo Spring Fun, with optional mouse ears. Too bad you can't see the awesome seersucker pants that go with this: :-)

Last but not least, Gymbo Wildflower Fields. This is probably my favorite, especially when she's wearing the matching ribbon hat (not shown). This was at the Main Street USA barber shop, where Meredith got her first haircut! I highly recommend this--you get the first haircut mouse ears and certificate, and apparently "all the stickers you can eat" while they're cutting your hair. LOL

Thanks again for looking! Any other fun vacation pics are a welcome addition to this thread!!!

Meredith is such a doll! It looks like a terrifically fun trip! We love Disney (our last visit was almost a year ago! wah!). I love all of M's outfits. She was the height of park fashion! :)

Hey Joyce!
Great pictures! She's adorable! We're leaving tomorrow for the world but unfortunately, not taking anything really nice. Since my two are mobile, I assume they'll both be very dirty by day's end.
Miss those infant days sometimes...

Thanks for looking, Denise, Val, and Jeanne! I had WAY too much fun picking out all the outfits for Meredith to wear to the parks. Too bad my spring wardrobe isn't similarly spectacular. DH said we look like Meredith's less wealthy nannies in our clothes. LOL.

Jeanne--Have a great trip! I'm jealous even though I just went!!!

Awwwww, she is so sweet. I love all of the outfits. You're really making me regret not buying the MJ socks - just adorable!

Vicki--

Those socks are the most commented upon item in Meredith's wardrobe, seriously. It's getting ridiculous! She wore a different pair each day at Disney and AT LEAST 15 people a day stopped to say they loved them (including people who worked there and, impressively, the "character" Mulan). LOL

I mostly like that they're easy to keep on. I'm a little worried that buying real shoes (someday soon) is going to seriously eat into my clothing budget. :-)

Thanks for looking.

Thanks, Janice! We had a great time. We're ready to go back, but next time DD won't be so portable! It was great that she didn't want to get out of her stroller yet this time around. :-)

Joyce,

Meredith is such a cutie. I love the picture of her with Mickey, being partial to the Sorcerer myself.

We are going in December, and I've already found myself buying a few summer things to put away for the trip. I can't wait!

Thanks, Tammie!

You will have so much fun! It's a logistical challenge going with a little one, but you couldn't find a more family friendly place than Disney. (This was our first vacation with Meredith).

We really lucked out with Mickey-as-sorcerer. We were at MGM studios waiting for the next Who Wants to be a Millionaire show. There are two airstream trailers there that characters come out of and big lines form, obviously, because the characters are in plain sight. Well, right near the Millionaire show there's a marquee that says Mickey, but you have to go INSIDE to see if he's there. There was hardly any line!

Have fun in December!

Joyce,

It looks like you guys had a great time. I love the picture of her in her stroller and the "first haircut". We just got back a few weeks ago and we are planning our next trip. DD had a blast!

Lisa--

Isn't it fun? We went April 3-10 and as soon as we got back DH said "When are we going again?" LOL. The first haircut was especially fun--I was expecting disaster and was pleasantly surprised by Meredith's mellowness. :-)

Glad you had fun!

Joyce

p.s. loved your recent Naartjie pics!!!

She looks adorable in each photo! I bet you had fun packing for her. Now that we're traveling and I'm packing for dd, I want cute clothes too! Thanks for sharing your fabulous photos with us!
