View Full Version : What's wrong with this Hanna hat?

Is this the way it's supposed to fit?

I ordered the white eyelet XS hat (for $8) because she has a really small head, but somehow it doesn't look right to me. Also, only the brim is lined and her black hair shows through the top. What do you think? TIA!

I don't mind the fit...here's a pic of Sophie in the lavender sunhat, same style:

I got the eyelet one from an outlet too (S) and I think it's fully lined, but I will check tomorrow as it's in Sophie's room and she's sleeping.

Ida, I think the hat is too small. It's supposed to come down more on thir head so that the brim is closer to their eyes. I would size up. :)

I think it looks too small. Here's a picture of a Hanna hat on DD. It is pretty big on her but I want it to last. The brim really blocks the sun off her face and I keep it turned up so she can see!

I agree w/ the pps. Too small. My DS has a really small head too.

Ditto the PPs on it being too small. I find the HA sunhats tend to run a bit smaller than the head cir. measurements they actually give for sizing. (According to their charts my DD should be in a size S, but they are clearly too small when I've tried them on her, so I went with M's instead.)

Thank you for all of your responses. I'm glad to know that it's not the way it's supposed to fit. I'm calling cs this morning to find out if they have a bigger size in the eyelet and if it is completely lined so that I know what our replacement should be. I'm also glad to know that they run small because according to the size chart, xs would have been her size. I'm so tired of hats looking huge on her and I didn't know what to make of this snug fit. :)
