As soon as I find out whether this baby is a boy or girl, I want to get the going-home outfit. I wanted to get an outfit and a matching blanket. I know that Gymboree has the different collections and they all have matching blankets, but I wanted to see if there were other clothing brands that did this too. Any suggestions?

Baby Gap. Love their newborn clothes.

I think my pick would be the sets from Hanna Andersson. They have fabulous knit baby blankets and caps and really soft baby clothes. For example:

I second the vote for Hanna just because you'll use the pieces over and over. I'm also a fan of very comfy clothes for the first few months, so I never went with fancy going home outfits. Abbie still uses her Hanna blanket at 19 months and that Hanna sweater will last for months, even in the small size.

I third the vote for Hanna. It is so nice and snuggly and cute. My DD#3 is 6 month old now, and she can still fit into Hanna's size 50 cardigan, we use it all the time and it still looks great. The socks is great that it actually stays on, and zippers are fabulous.... I can keep going on and on.....

If you want something a bit more funky, Zutano have cute mix and match sets with blanket and their clothing are super soft also. I Love them.

I would recommend Carter's. They have nice matching items, the quality of their cotton clothng and blankets is great (and it less costly).
My daughter outgrew her first outfit at 3 weeks, but we used their blankets for over a year.
