Okay, I admit it- I was reading People magazine in the checkout line. Before I had time to find out any more I had to pay attention and get through the line, so I only have partial information. But, I know if anyone can help me out this is the place.

There was a picture of Brooke Shields carrying her dd and she had on the most adorable light pink mary janes. They appear to have a light colored (beige) rubber sole that wrapped around the heal. The picture I think was in this coming week's issue with the "Most Beautiful People" on the cover.

So, anyone have any guesses?

I haven't seen that issue but could the shoes be by Primigi? They have several styles that wrap around the heel.

I think they are those MaryJane socks that have the beige top.

These were definitely shoes and not socks. A little like the Primigi (the color is about the same) but true Mary Jane style, not the T-strap, and appear to be leather since they were smooth not a nubuck. Maybe it is another Primigi style, that would make sense.
Any other thoughts?

Denise,
I think those could be it- hard to say without a better look at the picture. Either way they are super adorable. EEK-the price! She's just too young at this point based on her moving up in sizes every few months, but if she could wear them for at least 6mo. oh I could be tempted. Excellent sleuthing-thanks!

Abbie, as they get older, they wear shoes for a bit longer. Maybe for this winter? :)

Abbie, I hate to be the tempter (okay, I actually like being the tempter), but we have these shoes and they are terrific! Very comfortable and good for running and jumping. Now, Roley is much older than Maddie, but her shoes have always lasted a full season, if not a little longer. Here's a link where they are a slightly cheaper: http://www.children-shoes.com

It's not the greatest picture, since I don't have a scanner and had to use a digital camera, but I hope this helps!

(I don't normally buy *People*, but this post piqued my curiosity. :))

I'll leave the pic posted for a few days.

Thanks for the picture. Hmm- I don't think it's the Primigi shoe, from what I can see. What does everyone think? Any guesses?

Only if I get a free pair for all this marketing I've done for whomever (LOL) Maybe they are Naturino- I'll have to take a look. My SIL brought home a beautiful pair of pink suede boots for DD in a size 21 when she was 2 mo. old. So they will probably never be worn. Could I convince them to do a trade-in?
