I don't really want to Ebay - I'm too paranoid of getting gypped. Is my only option to suck it up and buy online at Nordstrom or at SR?

What size do you need? I have two pair New in Box that I would like to get rid. One is the navy with burgundy/white flowers and the other is black Party Bow.

How much cheaper do you want? There is a store near me that sells them for $22. I could pick some up for you but after shipping you would only be saving a few dollars.

Have you seen these knockoffs? I don't own any so I don't know if they're any good. http://stores.ebay.com/Shoes-Zoo_W0QQssPageNameZstrkQ3amefsQ3amesstQQtZkm

Angie - did not have a specific $$ in mind. It just never seems to be a discount on any of the online places that sell them. We have shoo shoos that I got for $10 on their discount page - but she gets them off (and they are getting small) Someone suggested Robeez and when I tried them on, the are definately a better fit for her narrow feet. You are right about the shipping adding to the cost.

Thanks for the link - I know I have seen posts about them, so I am going to search the archives for reviews.

I have not received mine yet, but I've only heard good things about them. They seem to start at $14:
http://www.joshoes.com/ and extremely customizable.

As for Robeez, they price fix so you will almost never find them for less than everyone charges. I've noticed a few places even charge more, though. I get mine off of ebay or swap or places like that. Oftentimes they are new and someone just overbought, or very close to new. Jack & Lily are really nice as well, and very slightly less expensive.

If your not totally locked on Robeez you should check out Buskins. They have a sale page on their website and sometimes you can find good deals. We have some sandoolz and some maryjanes. They are much more narrow than shooshoos. Also there is a wiggees coop going on. That would be much cheaper, but wiggees aren't quite as narrow as Robeez and Buskins IMO. HTH

We tried a pair of these after reading about them on this board and were very happy. Shipping was immediate and they arrived in just a few days. She included a second pair of brand new shoes for no charge, with a note that since the face (they were teddy bears) didn't come out perfectly so she wasn't selling them as new. They look fine to us and so we got a pair of very cute light green with puppy dogs and navy with teddy bears for about $12. My son has chubby little feet but these shoes seem to fit as well as Robeez, he's never pulled them off.

If your daughter has narrow feet, try Jack & Lily. They work the best for my DD (although we also have Bobux and Robeez). The babymarketplace.com has them for a few dollars cheaper and free shipping.
Good luck!

Do you have a Rugged Bear near you? I just happened to go in a couple weeks ago and they had 20% off all merchandise, including Robeez. I got a pair for about $20 plus tax. I signed up for their mailing list. The salesperson told me they have the sales about once a month.

FYI- I did try the shoes from ShoesZoo on Ebay. I got 2 pairs for only $12. They are really cute, but the quality isn't as good as Robeez. And my daughter can pull them off pretty easily. But for only $6 a pair, they're well worth it. HTH!
