I'm going to a trunk show on Thursday, so I've got some decisions to make!!! I really wish that they wouldn't put elasticized ankles on so many of their boys' longalls - DH would not be happy about me putting that on DS! This little boy's coat is absolutely to die for, though:

Does anyone have this style corduroy shortall from a previous year? I know that they carry it every fall. If so, do you like it?

Happy shopping!! :)

I don't have that corduroy shortall but seriously considered it last year. DS could wear that almost all winter down here and would stay warm enough. I almost bought it in red, though. It is so cute! Can't wait to get my catalog!

ITA about the elastic in the ankles on the longalls. I can't stand it and Bailey Boys puts elastic in the ankles of their longalls, too. Funtasia is about the only brand I've found that doesn't have elastic in the ankles of their longalls. I've wondered about taking the elastic out and having just a straight leg. Wonder if that would work?!?!

Kim -

I had forgotten about Bailey Boys doing that, too - I just hate it. I'm not sure about taking the elastic out, but that might work. Hmmm. I love that Funtasia doesn't have the elastic - Kelly's Kids doesn't have it either, which is great!

I think I'm going to take the plunge on that corduroy shortall. It is just precious!

I looked at their catalog online and it looks like they did have one or two longalls without elastic but not many. One was black velvet or cord (can't remember). That shortall only comes in blue this year?? I only saw it in blue but they also have it in patterns, I think. My memory stinks! :P

Let me know what you think of the corduroy shortall --- I may have to splurge on that one, too! :)

I have the shortall in linen for summer (well, several summers ago).

It's gorgeous! And as with much of this line, he can't wear the style forever, so do it while you can!!

Kim - They do have a few longalls without the elastic - The overalls you're thinking of are corduroy, and very cute:

This firetruck longall also comes w/o elastic:

The shortall comes in the vivid blue (in my post above), a pastel blue, and this black version:

I think I'm going to get it in the vivid blue. Claire, do you remember how it ran? DS is currently wearing a 2 (he's tall and slender), and I want him to wear it for his two-year old portrait in early October. Do you think a 2 or a 3?

Elizabeth, I ordered the corduroy shortall last year!

It's very thin, you should know that, but it is sturdy enough and good quality. I was happy. I did find it ran tru to size towards big.

Good luck! I also had the collar monogrammed. I like the monogramming. ;)

Thanks, Allison! I'm definitely going to have the collar monogrammed - It's totally cute!
