I must admit I'm not as in love as I thought I'd be. However, the knits (especially the pants) are a nice, thick, yummy fall weight and feel great to the hand.

First, the clot dress set. The dress is a 2T and HUGE, the pants are 18-24 and oddly, 1/2 inch longer than the SAME pants in 18-24 in Flower (???!!!). I'm thinking we need an 18-24 in the dress. Or will I be sorry come November-December?

Next, Bird applique top 2T and knit pants with poplin ruffle in 18-24, both in Flower. All I can say is, are they KIDDING about the length of the pants? This is with the waist rolled once already. A shame because the style is adorable!

Last, the swing top in Sage 2T and Transition basic capri 18-24 Bluebell (I ordered the new fleece but they sent the wrong thing by mistake). This does nothing for me and is going back unless someone can convince me otherwise.

Oh, and we had a Dr's appointment today. Sophie is 34 inches (SOME growth spurt!!!) and 24.5 lbs. 90th percentile height (she has always been 50th-75th) and 50th percentile weight.

Thanks for looking!

Best,
Mary

Very cute! I agree that the sage top is nothing special, though. I'm having trouble with sizing, too. It's so hard to predict 6 months out! It sounds like Sophie is growing pretty fast these days, so maybe you should just keep the first dress. I really like the striped pants with it. Maybe for the flower top you should get another pair of striped essential pants to go with it. Do you sew? I've contemplated hemming some of the crazy flares with this line. I sure hope that the next line has some deeper colors.

How adorable the new Naartjie is on your DD! I love the dress set on her. I would think about exchanging the dress set for a smaller size if she will be wearing this fall. The length of the sleeves would worry me a bit. My DD is 19 months (33 in and 25 lbs) and we've been buying Naartjie for quite awhile now and I've come to realize that she never grows into things as fast as I think she will and I need to forget about looking at the size numbers. She *still* doesn't fit into an outfit I bought for her for last fall and it's a size 6-12 months! This is partly due to the long bell sleeves on the top. I love the pants in Flower but I'm LOL about the length. Maybe someone at the store can measure for you to determine the rise/length of other sizes? And I agree about the last outfit. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks, and you're right. I think with Naartjie you just have to forget about the numbers - though that's easier if you can go to a store, ugh!

I sent everything back except one pair of pants (not shown, essential stripe in Flower) for smaller sizes and some just plain returns. If the next batch still doesn't work, I'm giving up on this line!

Best,
Mary
