Janie & Jack (J&J)~ Do some items NEVER go on sale?

I'm a fairly new J&J fan~ since my 4 month old DD. I just adore their girls clothes!

Anyway...my DD is wearing the Hanna Andersson Snowflake Dress for Christmas (and the pictures).
I'm looking for something for my DS to wear, and what would look great for picures with the Snowflake dress. I found the J&J Standing Ovation line- the Fair Isle Polar Bear sweater would look great (IMHO) with the grey pants.

So...I'd hate to pay full price! I'm in no rush, as I want it really for Christmas. Don't NEED it earlier. I'm afraid to wait. Is it often that some items just don't make it to sale?

this line JUST CAME out this week so it will be at least 6weeks (typically) before any pieces are marked down. And sometimes, there are items that don't ever get marked down til long after it's been released. California Cruisin' has been out for 2 or 3 months now and there are still some full priced items! ARGH!!

Maybe I'll just keep checking on the J&J set I really love. It it's not on sale by the end of November, I may just need to pay full price.
Julia wore the Let it Snow Sweater Set a couple of years ago- for his first Christmas! I'd love it for him again, and I also love other Hanna recommendation that you had, but I didn't know:
does it look too "babyish"? He's a BIG 2 years, 9 month old.

I've just been trying, for the past half hour, to post a picture of my DS that I have from Photobucket.
I was following the instructions on "adding an avitar to your post", but I can't seem to get it to work.
Anyway...I still love the J&J outfit the most. Can hardly wait for it to go on sale (and don't know if I'll be ablet to!).

I can see it as your avatar! To make it bigger, just post the "Picture URL" from Photobucket into the body of the post. No need for HTML.

Definitely go with what you love. My DD is a November 03 baby so I am on a tear trying to get in all the baby outfits I can! I know she won't fit into them or they'll just look wrong next year, but I think for up to 2 1/2 or so they are definitely still babies.

I think they do go om sale eventually, but your size might run out before then. The store in my area doesn't seem to stock a lot. Last year I bought the pumpkin sweater full price at $48. I felt silly doing it but I don't regret it. He wore it last fall, winter, spring, and is wearing it this fall. It's my favorite sweater and we get compliments on it all the time!

I LOOOOOVVVEEE that sweataer!! If it wasn't gonna be too hot for it, I'd have Holden wear it next week for school pics!! I LOVE IT!! It might be my very favorite sweater EVER!! Nice, simple, classic and basic!!
