I am having so much fun planning for a girl!!! I have always dreamed about dressing her up and putting a pretty little bow in her hair. What are some good bows for a newborn?
TIA!

Our own Anna (pritchettzoo) makes the most gorgeous bows. Really well made, and tons of choices for ribbons.

She also has headbands that have a loop for attaching bows. And I think there's a coop running right now. (And, no, I didn't buy bows for DS. :) I got some for two of my nieces).

Tara,

Next time your in the City go by Rock-A-Bye Baby. They are a consignment store on Braker and 183, in the shopping strip by HEB.

They have a ton of bows right now. They are all new and run between$3-6 I believe.

Last night I friend and I were talking and I decided that I don't need a baby shower, or even a clothes shower, but I would love an accessories shower with bows, socks, shoes, and bling for the baby girl. I'm too am looking forward to dressing up the little girly!

I think the best bet for a newborn is a headband and Pretty Little Monkey has some cute ones they can customize. If I can only just chose a coming home outfit already! I'm not even that far yet. I also thought the Trumpette Newborn Booties were adorable for the take home outfit.

I havne't bought much for the baby girl yet. I'm very behind.

I hate to be a party pooper...but just be careful with any kind of hair clip or bow on an infant. My cousin's DD had a scary choking incident with one when she was a couple of months old...it came out of her hair and she was in her carseat and somehow it found its way into her mouth. :( I think you're probably safest with the headband type things, though my girls were so bald for so long that we didn't try any kind of hair accessories, so I don't know how well headbands stay on squirmy babies.

Dressing little girls can be lots of fun, even without the bows. :D Enjoy!

I've gotten some great ones from her, and all of them are custom (or not). She does M2M for Gymboree, and some other brands as well. Also, if you check out www.gymbohaven.com under "boutiques" there are a lot of ads for places to order bows (as well as jewelry).

We have had wonderful luck with Megan at Bellies and Bows, http://www.belliesandbows.com/

She does beautiful work (people ALWAYS comment on our bows) and has done custom work for me in the past in addition to what's on her site.

Congratulations!

Best,
Mary

Anna's bows at www.prettylittlemonkey.com are awesome! She has this cool headband that you can attach different bows to for greater flexibility. When Kayla was a baby I spent a fortune on headband bows, and with this system, I could have saved a ton of money.

I have Anna's bows and they are beautiful! She can color coordinate pretty much anything too. :)
