Old Navy now has extra 50% off summer clearance, plus if you got the Stuff and Save bag you can save an extra 20%. I am totally out of control, I bought stuff that DD won't wear for 2 more summers!

Here are some of my deals...
terry pants $.99
2 denim jean jackets $2.40 each (I got a 3T and DD is only 8 mo old!)
Dress $3.60

Wow! Great deals! Thanks for the tip. I'm going to check it out tomorrow.

BTW, what's the Stuff and Save bag?

If you open an Old Navy credit card, they give you a bag and whatever fits in it is an extra 20% off. They do it a few times a year and will send it to you in the mail if you have a credit card.

My DH would have a stroke over my Gap/Old Navy Summer Tour of 2006. But when else are you going to find a jean jacket again for less than $2.50? I am going to another tomorrow and I am not coming out until I find that jacket in a 18-24 mo size!

Thanks for posting this! We headed out there today and got some great deals. I really restrained myself, only spent $15.82, here are my deals:

Cotton hoodie $2.69
Knit dress $2.69
T-shirts $1.57 and $2.24
Jersey skirt (matches jersey hoodie) $2.02
Jersey hoodie $3.36

There were regular unembellished bootcut jeans for $4, as well as cropped jeans for $4 - lots of great stuff. The friend I went with spent $97 so I did pretty well :) I am planning on going back in 2 weeks for price adjustments though, because I know there will be another markdown!

Thank You for posting this!!!

I ended up with 5 teeny-tiny baby summer baby outfits/onesies for $11.43. I am due 8/1 so there will still be time to wear them for this summer.

Thanks for posting this! I am now depending on the RL board for notice of all the good sales.

After gap and TCP, I think I already have DS entire wardrobe for next summer, but it's worth checking out.

I remember this time last year stocking up for my older boys at ON prior to a vacation we were taking in August. It worked out great - new clothes for the trip, still new for back to school.

You know, I always feel guilty spending at the sales, but boy it's great to pull out all of the new clothes next year when I need them. DH recently complemented me for saving "so much money on the kids' clothes" buy shopping sales and ebay. Whoda thunk?

Shop on, ladies!

I was at my local ON and they only had white jean jackets. Of course, I couldn't resist not getting it but I really would have loved a blue one. I was wondering if anyone saw or bought a blue jean jacket at this great price? If so, I will definitely hit other ON stores to try to find one.
Thanks,
Stacey

Can't comment on the jean jackets, but here's what I got on the boys' side:

Bathing suits and matching swim shirts (for the next three summers.) Some of the swim shirts were down to $1.45; the trunks were $2.49-$3.50. Also got trunks for my bigger boys (although not a lot of selection in boys 4-20)

Screened tshirts for $2.49; one really cute ringer that says "bermuda beach" Their ringed tees and strped ts were also marked down.

Cutest floral western style button down with snaps and snap pockets - I have been watching this one. There were also lots of plaid button downs.

Also saw some cute hooded windbreakers; we didn't need one this time.

Boy, wish I had the time and patience for ebay. This would be the time to stock up and sell next year.

I am losing my mind and went way overboard...

I got for next summer 18-24 mo in both white and dark blue. Both $5.99 less 50% and 20% stuff and save. Then I bought them in larger sizes, one was a 3T and the other a 4T. Heck she will eventually fit in them!

I was in Old Navy on Friday and they were bringing out fall clothes and one item was a jean jacket full price. Very similar, just slightly later shade of blue.

That's how I shop. :) i have 4 white BG pointelle sweaters in various sizes because i found them for $3.99 and 20% off at the last stuff and save sale. Luckily my neice will wear one and pass it down to us. we havs so much stocked up from various ON and TCP sales! if you buy big, they are bound to fit into it. ;)

Thanks, that is good to know. I will go on a search mission for a blue one. If I do find the blue one I will also do the same thing and buy ahead. I just have to remember where I put them so I have them when I need them.

Thanks for replying.

I went today (Sunday) and the sale was over. I did pick up a couple Tshirts for DS that were on clearance for $2.99, but I wish I could have gotten the extra 50% too!

I missed it, too. Didn't even realize it until I went to the register. I ended up buying the stuff anyway, hoping for a price adjustment within 2 weeks. Maybe they'll bring the sale back? *fingers crossed*

Woo hoo! I was able to get a bunch of stuff for the girls but didn't have a chance to look for myself. I'll be going back this weekend. I need to exchange a couple of things anyway. Thanks for posting.

I just came back from the ON in No. NJ. They said their sale was only last weekend. I'm not sure if it's a regional or location-based sale. I'm going to try calling the ones in NY.

Same here. I went yesterday and no additional 50%. They had "clearance up to 50% off original prices" but it wasn't additional off. I asked an employee when they would do it again and he said they did it last weekend, and would probably do it in another month or so.

Come to find out it WAS a regional thing. I went to another ON over the weekend looking for deals, and they told me only a few locations were doing it this extra weekend. Sorry to get you all excited!
