Mini Boden Question

I'm in Canada and have received 2 orders in the past little while and one was hit with duty ($45!) and the other came in clear.
They both had about the same value on them.
Just wondering if you pay duty on your Boden orders if you live in the US?

I've ordered twice from them and had not had to pay any duty.

I have ordered from Boden many, many times and have never had to pay duty. I would call their CS about it.

Where are your orders being shipped from?

I'm in the US, and I believe that most of them I've received have come from a fufillment center in Dallas. There's a bunch of stuff on the envelope making it look like it has come from the UK, but looking closely, it was actually shipped from Dallas (I think I've received a couple from Florida, too).

I'd call CS.

How harsh! Ours have come from Florida.

They have at least one or two fulfillment centers in the US because returns go via Florida.

Hmmmm. Thanks for the replies everyone. I don't think sending them an email would do much good - my stuff is coming from the UK.
sigh. It'd be nice if the distribution places in the US just sent it across the border.
