How to fix a rivet on overalls

Emma has a pair of custom Barney overalls that I got her off Ebay and a rivet popped. I have no idea how to fix this. Anyone have any advice.

I *think* you can remove the old one and replace it with one you buy at Walmart or a fabric store. You could probably also bring it in to the fabric store and ask if they knew how to fix it. Or, last resort, or if you spent a lot of money on the overalls, bring them in to a tailor/seamstress at your cleaners and I am sure they could fix it.

I haven't removed a rivet, but I have added some. Went to the fabric store and bought them for a buck or two. Didn't need any fancy tools--just had to whack it really hard to put in place.
