Love it! It's definitely a light-weight winter coat. I honestly do not think I'd use it on a 2-year old playing in the snow in the northeast but it will be perfect for our NC winters (we had no snow last year :( )

I got the purple/green/teal one, and the colors are great. Mari loved it. I got the 90 and the sleeves have to be rolled just once and otherwise it's going to be perfect!

I also got the purple fleece hat and purple/green mittens. She promptly put them on too. :)

I'm debating on getting it as well. Indiana winters are pretty unpredictable. How tall is Mari now and how much does she weigh. I'm probably going for a 90 as well. Susanna is about 30 lbs and 36 inches tall.

Thanks!

Yea, they're pretty close in size. Mari is about 28-29 lbs and 34". She is mostly all torso though which is why the jacket really fit her well in the length.

That sounds good to me. I was debating getting Matthew one but since you live across the way, I think it will probably do well for us too. ;)

I'm glad you like it Holli! I'm glad(but sad :) ) to have it confirmed that it's not heavy enough for a Northeast winter. I'm still considering it for a fall/early winter coat since I like it so much. I'm in love with the red/orange one for the boys. I should just get it since it's on sale and then I can decide. How long is it on Mari? I'm also wondering why they only have the Journey's End jacket for girls. It's supposedly warmer but it doesn't do us any good with 2 boys! :)

Do you think it's light enough for TX winter?

Which part of TX? If it's Dallas then yes. When we lived in Austin I never owned a winter coat, but we didn't have kids then. So, I'm not sure it would be light enough for Austin.

Okay, DH thinks it would work for Austin, but not a lot of wear. I think it would be a little much. Maybe an LLBean fleece would be better? We had the super cute pink penguin pattern last year.

Thanks...I think I am going to go with the LL Bean fleece. There are usually a couple of days when that's not enough, but I'm sure I'll figure something out, if/when that time comes.
