DS asked for plain brown slippers

I showed him slippers from all the usual suspects (LLBean, LE, Hanna, etc.) and he just kept saying no, he wanted brown slippers. And he doesn't mean shearling.

The animal ones unsettle him a bit so I'm looking for plain brown fuzzy toddler-sized slippers.

I just started this search and will be at it for a little while, but thought someone here might have an idea/recommendation.

Striderite.com has a plain tan moccasin slipper that's fuzzy inside. I got a pair for dd (not girly slippers at all but she wanted them) at my local store on super clearance.

We were at Target today and I went down the slipper aisle with DS. I showed him some of the moccasin styles that you're talking about and he very calmly again said no, I want brown furry slippers (which is his version of fuzzy).

So thanks, but the hunt continues. :)
