Best Method for Labeling Daycare Clothes?

Hi, my daughter is starting daycare in 2 weeks at 5 months of age. I am required to label all her clothes and bring four changes of clothes. I am trying to figure out the best method for labeling her clothes that is semi-permanent since I would like to be able to pass down her clothes to child #2 or consign/give away.

I ordered some iron-on clothes labels (stuckonyou.biz) but now i'm wondering if a sharpie marker would be less permanent? A friend of mine also recommended the clothing labeler from OneStepAhead.com.

I can't really answer your question, but thought I'd pass along the idea of only labeling with the child's last name so the label works for future children.

A sharpie will be the most permanent method of labeling. The best semipermanent labeling system is sewn in labels.
