Kate is pretty set for fall with Hanna.
Nick will be sporting Boden.
I love both, but they do not look so good TOGETHER. Tell me I am being ridiculous.

You are too much. Look at it this way, though- even if you put Nick in boys' Hanna, they still wouldn't match. How would your DH feel if you put him in a playdress set? :)

Sometimes DS and I match, mostly for subconscious reasons. I think my brain says, "Hey, I feel like wearing green today!" and before I know it, we're both in green.

I agree with the PP's comments.... the HA stuff is totally different for boys versus girls. The boys' stuff is totally uninspired (sadly).

I only think you'd be ridiculous if they DID actually match (although define "matching".... wearing the same outfit? or do you mean "look somewhat harmonious together?")

I have twins who I always coordinate (but don't match) so I feel your neurosis... My DS is usually in Boden and the girls wear a lot of Hanna, if that helps.

While DS doesn't "match" the twins, I think the Boden shirts are creative in the same way that the Hanna is different for girls. Occasionally, DS will have on a Hanna shirt or something, but as he has grown, I think he looks better in more subtle, rough-and-tumble stuff, like Boden.

Oh, Susan, I don't find it neurotic at all. Do you scrapbook? If so, colors must be coordinating at least!

Here is where I humiliate myself by admitting that on days we know we will be taking a lot of pictures, me, DD, and DH are color coordinate. Even DH takes the initiative on this sometimes. ;)

Susan...your family photo is going to be so much fun to look at in 20 years! Hey, you can just tell Nick it is a swedish kilt.

You are not neurotic; I find that I gravitate toward similar colors when I pick out the days' clothes.

As you know, I try all of the clothes that I buy ahead for DD on DS to see the fit. Maybe I'm the neurotic one ;-)

Annie! I wasn't gonna tell where I got the idea! I can not imagine this fitting Kate next summer? (80).

I thought of putting John in a dress for fun. He's such a pretty baby and we likely wont have a girl........ no guts though.

Grace is in 80 still (just barely) and she's 2 yrs 2 mos. I guess it all depends on how tall Kate is then. Grace is 75% for height.

Well, if it helps, DD is almost 10 months and will be wearing a 70 playdress and an 80 playdress this winter (turns 1 Nov 4th) - so after you wash that a few times I bet it will fit Kate next summer! And I have to admit that when I saw Nick in it, I almost asked you what size it was...it does fit him well :)

MAybe I'm the weird one - DH and I are absolutely not allowed to match. I have made him change his shirt even when we were both wearing vastly different shades of brown.

I don't like to match with my DH but sometimes I 'accidently' put DH and DS in the same colors, or DD and me coordinate. I don't mean coordinate as much as look good together!

If DH and I end up matching we always stop and joke, "So I see you got the memo."
