I bought the Hanna storyteller vest for DS #2 for $6 (!!!!!!!!!!!!) at the HA outlet last spring. Now I'm debating what to pair it with. I'm not crazy about the plaid shirt they show it with in the catalog:

Any other suggestions?

I got this for DS last year for holiday time but didn't get the plaid shirt either. He wore it with a plain light blue button down shirt that I got from children's place I think or with a white turtleneck. I think both look pretty good. I liked the blue shirt the best. You might be able to do a sage or light green with it.
That was a steal of a deal!! I paid full price due to procrastination over holiday outfits last year!

I put it with a black turtleneck. I was wearing black with my cartigan. Nordstroms had a blue that looked great but not in his size last year.

Old navy had some nice oxford shirts recently, including a washed-out red, I bet that would look nice if they still have them.

I just saw the winter/fall onesies out at Children's Place this week. Bet there is a color there to coordinate.
