Socks w/ Gucio? and color question

Just got a pair for my son. I guess I'm a bozo, but I'm unclear if these should be worn with socks?

And while I'm fessing up, do you think the "heather" color is for girls? or would it be ok for DS too?

I think you can definitely wear these with socks.

As for the color, heather appears to be a dark pink color. DH would kill me if I put it on DS, and I am not sure that color would match any of his clothes in any case.

I also believe that these shoes can be worn with socks! Also, I have the heather color for my daughter, and love it. It is a purple color, but not too bright. I know that some people would disagree, but I think that boys could probably wear this color too. Actually, I am planning on saving my daughter's shoes so my son can wear them when he is old enough...

Yup, we put socks on DS with his summer style ones because they're still a bit big, and it worked out great, and his feet weren't even sweaty after being in them for almost 12 hours!

I think heather is more of a girl color - a dark pinky purple.
