Brands of squeaky shoes?!

Which brands have you all tried?

but I started looking and realized there are a

Have you tried Pipsqueaks? I think my DD also has chunky ankles and they fit her well. I think that they only squeak to size 7 though.

DD is only a 4 or 5, but Pipsqueaks (the ones on achildscloset and shoeszoo, right?) are a bit more than I wanted to spend. The weird thing is I've noticed some of the shoes on the different sights look EXACTLY the same. I'm wondering if a lot of them are and the companies just put their name on 'em.

Look at these ladybug shoes: ($28, $36, $12 !) Aren't they the same?

If they are, my choice is pretty easy, although of course the more expensive sites have the styles I prefer.

we have some squeakies that a friend brought back when she adopted a baby in china. we really like them and it got me looking for more online. also,a local boutique carries a few styles with way marked up prices. the differnet brands seems of the same quality to me. they are all made in china i think and different sellers just sell them for more of a mark-up. i'm going to buy from

angelcovers.com


because their prices are way lower, and they donate all of their profits to orphanages in foreign countries. i'm sure you could email them for sizing info.

I bought DS a pair of Bee Squeaky shoes in the spring from www.naturalbabies.com. (Beesqueaky.com has said they've been sold out for at least 6 months). He needed brown shoes, and every single site/brand i checked had an identical pair, right down to the white stitching and little X's on the front. They have to be imported by the same company - why else wouldn't they differentiate them a little?

Anyway, we're really happy with the shoes. The squeaker can be popped out really easily, and everyone at daycare thinks they're the bomb. DS will go in phases where he's fascinated by the squeak and insists on jumping everywhere to show it off, and then other days he'll refuse to walk on his heels if the squeaker is in. Just make sure you don't lose them if you take the plugs out!
