Hanna store in Tysons Corner, VA - when will it open?

I saw a while back that a Hanna store is opening in Tysons Corner, VA - any word on when it will be? We *may* be planning a trip back there this fall, and if I can schedule it so I'll be there when it's open, that would be fabulous!

We used to live near there, and I'm envious of you NoVa moms!

I'm not sure when it is opening, but when I saw they were opening one there I was so upset! We just moved away from there in February! I keep telling DH we have to go back and "visit"! I hope someone else can tell you when because I would also love to know.

Yep, half of the reason I want to visit now is to go there! How sad is that?! Actually, I am excited to see friends and show DD where she was born and have some vacation time with DH and the girls, too, but honestly seeing a Hanna store will be a thrill too! :)

I live in Northern VA and was just at Tyson's this weekend. I think it said the Hanna store was opening this fall - but did not specify which month. I'm really excited for it to open, but am really wishing it would be an outlet.

Do the stores ever have sales that aren't necessarily included on-line or in the catalogues?

Yes, and they give out coupons occasionally that are only good in store. Plus you can take your returns there.

I'm told by a friend who knows someone in Tysons management that it will be open by October. :)

I was there this weekend too and the store doesn't look any further along than it di when they first put up the red store front. I emailed Hanna 3 times and got 3 different answers including they didn't know. Asked at the info desk and they didn't know either.

I was just there today checking and the red "cover" is still over the store. We live right down the street so I have been keeping an eye on it. I'll post as soon as I see it open so you can plan your trip! ;) (I've planned trips around less!)

I got an email from Hanna a short while back and I belive it said opening this fall, but with nothing more specific than that. I *assume* it'll be open in time for the holiday shopping crush. (seems stupid to open any later!)

P.S. - This thread is becoming a great way to see who lives near me in the No. VA area!

I got an email recently about jobs there! The last time I was at Tysons it did not look any different than the time before. I hope it is soon!!!

I dunno, but I'm eagerly awaiting it! :) The thing in front of where the store will be says Fall 2006, but it's not more specific than that. I also got an e-mail inviting me to apply for a job at one point. ;)

Its a Yahoo Group and well, that moderator would be me. But honestly, I haven't even looked at the group more than once or twice since our second child died last year. It was just too painful for me to have anything to do with a group that had so many young babies when I was mourning the loss of our child. Its only recently I've been able to come and post here again. I guess I've been in kind of a holding pattern with the Yahoo group for awhile. I don't even know if the old "crew" is even still active anymore, I've been really bad about keeping in touch with anyone.

Anyway, the group briefly discussed joining criteria years ago, but I don't think we ever finalized anything.

But if you wanted to start a new group it certainly wouldn't offend me. :)

That's what Hanna CS told me late last week when I had to call them about an exchange. (That's the second time I've heard that date from them.) I asked if they were planning any sort of grand opening sale, and they did not have any information on that.

I know they did a few years ago. I remember pushing DH. I was pregnant, but he had just recovered from hip surgery, and was worse off that I was at the time.

I definitely want to check out the new store, but I'm a little afraid to go there opening weekend! Unless they are giving away discount coupons...
