gymboree underpants?

DD needs some new underpants--she's about done with her trainers. I know Hannas are very highly recommended, but I just can't spend that on underwear. Does anyone have/like/dislike gymbo panties? They're having a sale right now 5 pairs for $15. Any other recommendations in that price range?

I have purchased them in the past for my DD and everytime she wore them she complained about the elastic feeling too tight around the waist.

We have had the best luck and fit from Hanes, which I think I purchased at Kohls.

We had the opposite experience! My DD (a skinny minnie) complained about the Hanes and character underwear I'd bought at TJ Maxx and Target as being scratchy, but she wears the Gymbo ones comfortably. We stick to the regular cut (not sport panty, which has a tighter elastic band). Gap is also pretty comfortable, although they seem to vary more.

The Gymbo ones seem to run true to size. I buy a 3-4 for my DD, who turns 4 this winter but is very tall for her age.

"Itchy Scratchy" I can't tell you how many times I heard that about the gymboree and gap panties. I didn't like the character ones they just don't wash that well IMO. We got Land's End...It's 5 pair for 19.50, more than I wanted to pay but she loves them. We bout a size up (she is 3 we got the 4/5). The waist band is flat and very soft and they really wash well. I ended up buying another set so we have 10 pair. I only wish they had some white in the set but other than that we really love them... here is a link below if your interested.

Good Luck with this. We wasted alot of money until we found some that she would wear. When my panties bother me I just shut up...not so with DD...
