I was in Talbot's tonight and they have their first markdowns out already. They were still marking but most things were out.

Were the winter boys sweaters (like the snowman ones) on sale? I have been waiting for those to go on sale! Should I wait until they do more markdowns or get some now? Last year I got some for $12 each but I don't remember when I bought them.

Also how much up should I size them? The size 6 ones I bought are too small for my 6 year old and were after the first wash last year! I am thinking of buying size 8 or 9 for him? He is 7 now and about the size of an average 6 year old.

The sweaters are marked down right now. I just checked the website.They are still over $20.00 though.

I bought a few items last year, also got the snowman sweater for 12.00. I'm pretty sure that was like a 2nd or 3rd markdown though.

Things don't get too cheap until the 3rd MD and then 25% off as well. I think some of their things run small like the layette pieces. But they are super soft.
