Boden question - can you put them in the dryer?

Thanks to everyone here I received my first Boden order today.
I love everything I bought - velvet trim cardigan, velvet trim henleys, and washed long sleeve tee.

The tags say to lay flat and dry - No tumble drying.
Just wondering if anyone has actually put them in the dryer? Did they shrink at all? Is it ok?

I love the shirts so I don't want to risk ruining them.

Is it ok for the Velvet trim tops to be put in the dryer?

oops. I dried mine, they have only been dried once or twice, though; so I can't say if they hold up long-term but they are fine.

I dry everything. If it can't be dried, we can't own it.

I dry mine, but I only have T shirts. They are MUCH softer after they dry. I do find that the shirts have shrunk a fair bit though.

Thanks for all the replies.

I went ahead and did a low tumble dry and then took them out half way through and let them air dry.

The shirts seemed fine so maybe next time I will let it dry a full cycle.
