I have 13 month old twins and my smaller guy is running low on pants. The 18-24 I have for his brother are too big on him, but what 12-18 I have is now to small.

Its mostly a waist thing. I can't button anymore of his pants, if I do it looks painful. I have some 12-18 The Childrens Place all elastic waist pants and I never want anymore like that again.

Does anyone have some suggestions for brands that run big/small? I know I would prefer snap closure instead of all around elastic....

Tks,

Samantha

My experience is that Gymboree runs a bit on the generous side of sizing. My 110% percentile for height guy was able to wear a 12-18 month pair of pants with plenty of room to spare at age 21 months. They were elastic back waist, but were not tight at all. I think they were button & front zipper closure. Gymboree seems to have alot of pants made this way. Some of their pants even have an adjustable waist. Not sure if the adjustable waist pants come as small as a 12-18 month size, but they do offer that option in a size 2T and up for future reference. We have the same problem. Elastic waist pants from Gymboree are our best friend.
