Another Mini Boden size question re: boys' pants

DS currently fits perfect in a size 12-18 months, but also fits into 18-24 months with room. We have to roll up the legs and with some, we roll over the waist band. He's 26 months.

If I bought some pants for next year, do you think I should get 2-3 or 3-4? I'm thinking more 2-3, but it's hard to say.

I would buy 2-3y, especially if the 12-18M still fit. IME with MB pants, they tend to run on the shorter end of things, but if your child does not have long legs (and it sounds as if he does not), I would order the smaller size.
