Summer Sandals - Ecco or See Kai Run?

I can't decide! I'm thinking of the red See Kai Run fisherman Sandals or the multi Ecco Hide & Seeks. Dd already has the basic White Stride Rites for outfits that the other pair won't match, but I like the kids to each have two pairs of sandals forthe summer.

Dd has had Ecco boots but never their sandals. I can't decide, I like them both! The eccos are about $15 more, though.

Also, anyone with an older child what do you put on them? Ds will be a 12 1/2 this summer and the SR "Toddler Tech" flexible ones stop at 12. I'm at a loss.

I'd do the red unless you have a ton of pink. I'm not a huge fan of pink but as dd's gotten older it's grown on me so she has lots more pink clothes than she did. She's wearing a pink pair of gap mary janes right now.

It depends on your taste really, both are great shoes from what I understand (but we've only had experience with Ecco brand shoes). Personally, I do not like stitching on these SKR sandals. And I do like how colourful and funky Ecco's are.

I like the SKR sandals personally! I am not a fan of orange so that turns me off of the Eccos. I have always founds Ecco shoes to be kinda stiff too!

I am about to order a pair of those same red See Kai Run sandals. I think they are adorable! (I mean, I was about to order them even before I saw your post.) Babyboatshop seemed to have the best price, from what I could see. I can't find them in real life. We've never had Eccos but from what I've seen at Nordstrom, they seem kind of stiff compared to the truly soft shoes.

I'm thinking of ordering these J'Citos from Babyboatshop as well - were you happy with them? Did they run large?

I love them! I don't think they ran large. Dd is wearing the size 6 and a size 6 wide in SRs.
