I have a skinny daughter... I am really having a hard time finding jeans for her that do not slide off of her bottom unless they are taken in so much in the adjustable waist that they look silly. I have done a search here and haven't found anything about skinny kid jeans. I found these on Boden today...

http://www.bodenusa.com/col.asp?segname=Mini&styid=32151&segid=5&gpname=Trousers&desname=Slim+Fit+Jeans&gpid=23&gen=1&cm_sp=CrossSell2-_-Trousers-_-Slim+Fit+Jeans

Has anyone bought these before and if so what did you think. We have tried Target, Gap, Gymboree, TCP, Levi's, Ralph Lauren, you name it we have tried it, we are going to Houston Wednesday and we will try Janie and Jack but I am not holding out much hope. Also I am having a hard time finding jeans this don't have crap all over them. There are very few brands that have just a pair of jeans...no flowers, no designs, just jeans.

BTW she is still in Toddler sizes, even though she is tall she doesn't have long legs just a long torso, so we can't go up to kid's sizes where they give you fit choices.

Thanks for any help...

I have a skinny daughter too. She is 4, (born 6 days after your DD :) She is 43 inches tall, and about 33 lbs. I bought her the slim fit jeans for Christmas last year, and they are my favorite! It fits really well. I think I got the size 4-5 yr. She still have hard time with bottons, so we use myself belt with it, but these jeans are definitely slimmer than other brands.

My daughter is a long torso girl too, and these jeans are a bit longer than her legs. But these jeans are straight, so I can fold the legs over a bit, and it stays that way all day. I actually want to get another pair :)

hth!

We have the same issues here. My DD is very skinny and has a long torso. These look great and think they might be worth it!

My daughter is tall and skinny, too (poor girl, haha) - She is 42 inches talll and a whopping 28 pounds. The BEST jeans I've found are the Kohl's brand jeans Sonoma - she doesn't even need a belt with these jeans which is a miracle because NOTHING else even remotely fits.

I'm going to look at the Boden jeans, however. Hopefully they're better than the gap long and lean jeans which were a joke.

I think it must be the whole sonoma brand then because the only pants I could find for my tall skinny girl this winter were the Sonoma sweats. She had one in every color, poor girl. :) They worked well for daycare. I'll have to check into their jeans too.
And these MB ones look like a good option too. Can one of you who ordered them post when you get them about how they work out? Thanks!

Thanks so much for the tip on Kohls Sonoma Jeans, I picked up two pair of capris yesterday and they fit her great. And the best part is they were 2 for $12, I was really needing something for the spring and summer that she could play in and they work great... I have a also ordered the Boden jeans and am going to give them a try...
