Honest opinions please:
This color crocs (celery) is $5 cheaper than the others, and I'm wondering if they would be OK for DS or if I should just suck it up and spend more. TIA

I've always thought of green as a good gender-neutral colour, so I wouldn't think there was anything odd about a boy wearing celery green Crocs ...

I would, absolutely. Especially with hanna grey cropped sweatpants and a hanna green survivor jacket. That would look adorable!!!

I like the green ones, they could easily be boy or girl.
This year, I bought them in 4 colors, pink, green, blue and red. All but the pink are worn interchangeably by both Johnny and Lily.

Really? It's not green per se, but they just look sorta pastel to me

It's hard to tell online
And don't tempt me with the Hannas :)

Did you get the lime, celery or other green?

I just ordered them in celery. With the 15% discount from fatwallet and $10 off from google, they were $11.24 final price shipped. Can't beat it. They do also have them in black for the same price:

I am worried about them overheating in black, if he's out on a sunny day. So, I ordered the celery for my DS. I already have the Hanna stuff. I think it'll be the outfit that will make or break the shoes in this color. My DS's outfits are all boyish enough for me not to worry. Plus, since they hardly show any wear, they are gender neutral enough for me to put them away for the next kiddo, whether it would be a girl or a boy.

I'm glad you all said yes, because I've been debating the same color choice! Off to order for my almost 4-yo boy.

Nope. But not because I think it is a girly color. I think the color is fine, but I just know that MY guy wouldn't want that color, and thus wouldn't wear them. I let DS choose his Crocs, and he chose the bright yellow. Wears the things every day, no matter what he has on clothes-wise, too ;) For the extra $5, I would let him choose the color that would make him happiest.

Yes, but don't ask me, as DS picked pink ones last summer at age 2 1/2, and pointed out the pink ones again a few months ago, so we may be doing pink again! Hopefully he won't get picked on for it (last year I taught him to say "I don't care, I like pink" if someone gave him a hard time. But at that age no one said anything.)

My 4 year old would love them but he loves anything that is green and he REALLY loves Crocs.

Ask your DS -- if he says 'yes', then I would go for it.

I would let my almost 4 year old pick that color if he wanted them. This year he picked royal blue Disney Crocs, but last year really wanted pink ones. I talked him into navy blue, however. Then we got his Build-A-Bear frog pink 'crocs'. That seemed to fill the need for pink Crocs <lol>.

Well, it's finally warm enough for Crocs and I showed these to DS since he kept picking up my crocs. He got SOOOOO excited and pulled his sneakers off & kept pointing at his feet while waving his celery crocs. FUN!!! So, at 8am this morning, we put on our matching crocs and went for a walk around the neighborhood. DS just loves them. We saw a few other early morning walkers and he kept stopping and raising a foot at them to show off his crocs. It was super cute.
