I pretreat stains and use either baby all or wisk with warm water and I can't get that stinky smell out. Help! What should I try?

Dreft stain remover - let it sit so they enzymes really get in there before washing.

I treat all breastmilk stains - milk and milk poo - in sunlight prior to washing. I've never had a problem with smell - I think BM smells a heck of a lot better than formula, anyway! :)

Do a pre-rinse cycle with vinegar (just a bit, less than a cup, will do on a small load cycle). Just white vinegar, nothing great for cooking with. Then wash as normal with your pretreater. Vinegar is an anti-bacterial agent. I started using it with cotton dipes and it worked very well, so I use it for towels.

I think this works particularly well if you have soft water.
